  1. Quite. Echo & Dolmar
  2. The only good horsefly is a dead one.
  3. Radmore & Tucker now selling more Echo CS620sx's than MS362 and Husq560xp put together; out of stock, awaiting a delivery of 400 620sx! What is this saying hey?! There's a lot of peeps don't want electronics for starters...
  4. waratah 460 is TJ/JD 754 so will take some pics or other info if you need. Supreme thinnings head, might lack aggression on h/w - will update. What you really want is an old 762c head haha Valmet 360.2 pictured is a good strong head but an a-hole to work on. As for the Maxi computer system, just a pig.
  5. In Komatsu's dreams! Viking heads seem to be most common replacement on Valmets / Komatsu's. SP heads - blow up with too much pressure behind them but I do like them. I run a H754 on a TJ harvester; about to stuff some decent sweet chestnut through it - will report on performance; some say 4wd heads are good on hardwood; others don't and prefer 2wd heads on hardwood. Tis a waratah aye. Stroke heads - slow; do they pay? Have you seen the price of Logmax heads; Good big heads tho. Keto - superb value for money although never had one (I lie I had a 100 but never fitted it). AFM - very fast heads indeed.
  6. Loose change for him; good investment from his perspective minus the negative press.
  7. trouble with sim only is you end paying to call your voicemail.
  8. Horrible. Drizzle and forecast for next 2 weeks the same. Flaming June is late! Grrr.
  9. Major Torque advantage to the 5105; power 0.2kW higher too. On paper aswell
  10. That or this winters wind-burn.
  11. Absolute crap Nico. 5105 best conifer harvesting saw there is in its size. 550xp lacks sparkle. 5105 has it in bucketloads. For a few grams, I'd rather have a few more muscles in my arm with extra firepower in my hands thanks very much. Please please please go use both for a month each, cutting all day every day and give us a break from the drip-drip-drip boring same old same old official specification information overload.
  12. RIP OFF BRITAIN! Well worth being in the EU isn't it! Reckon we could sue the Gov / HMRC over duty on aspen given our health is suffering for taxation?
  13. What?! Bluetooth earpiece under your ear defender?!
  14. I had an old Nokia 8210 and now a 700 because they're tiny and go in trouser pocket without issue; for emergencies. Main 'phone stays in truck; voicemail can save me the bother and interruption.
  15. Churchill Stayed at the Winston Manor a few times pre-flight. There was thing on the news the other day about rebated car lease if you have an advert on your motor. Hey, how about a massive Dolmar car!
  16. haha brilliant. Been laurel bashing today, my work mate just wanted to use my 5105! I let him, he'll want one before long
  17. Yeah I heard that wales was getting £40/m for chip. Lucky to get over £25 here. Rip of westcountry No wonder DF from honiton is going to wales!
  18. What year was yours? I hesitated over the gearbox rumour but never given me an ounce of bother.
  19. Too true, deck it while it's clean. £15-25* (A TONNE!!!) standing, blankety blank, never paid that much, £9/meter (£7.50/t) max. Cutter is going to want £15 for mechanised, more for hand cut so add that* standing price and roadside value of average £25/m3 and it doesn't add up. Forget thinking you'll get more than £25/metre, you might or you might not, but reckoning on more is a recipe for disaster.
  20. Get the timber volume measured... First things first... You'd want that before buying anyway. Second: ease of extraction i.e. ground conditions, roadside stacking???...
  21. Shavey... for you... DOLMAR - IDN TOURS DOLMAR PLANT
  22. Yeah I've got a LF pro rear roller as per 553HRS-PRO Lawnmower Will collect admirably if not cutting off too much at once where cuts have been neglected. Keep it sharp - saves power, fuel, puts more in the bag. Will clog when the bag is full though and then you get those patches of soggy sileage on the lawn! Rock solid reliable machine though. I also saw the kubota badged version and like the fact the handles are hammerite finish as opposed to chrome which in time gets those pesky rust spots. Kubota 21in Roller Mower (W821R-Pro) | Roller Mowers | George Browns EDIT!!! Rumoured that the Kubota has gone to a Kawasaki 6hp engine - now that is the makings of the perfect mower...! LOVE Kawasaki !!!
