  1. That is some skidder with BOTH a grapple AND a Line (winch)...
  2. Got an as new Echo 331 for sale on arbtrader...
  3. FMS are / were the agents; we nearly bought one in 2013 but the head had issues in certain species so wasn't sorted for us in time. It would appear to tick a lot of boxes; flow requirements, weight, etc. We were going to put it on an 8t excavator base. Speak to Kenny Dobson at Forest Machine Services; he'll know the latest. It was a good price at circa £35k. The Nisula heads are the most direct competitor.
  4. Russel Brand. I'd rather CMCO.
  5. What I meant was I'd rather the copper who pounced on the wee girl had been dealing with more serious crimes; he enforced the law - that's his job but it's minor; in the time mucking about being a jobsworth he could have spotted a burglary et al. I would fully support a change in the law to allow speed restricted cycling on the pavement for upto 12 year olds; as yet that hasn't happened. I consider the power a 4 year old puts through the pedals as insufficient to cause harm to a pedestrian - ish.
  6. Of course he could, but as I understand it, the law applies at all times. Murder is against the law; so is riding on the pavement. One is heinous, the other immaterial by comparison but again, the law is the law. The officer should have reminded the parent of the law, not scared the child which is what the media portrays as happening. Hundreds and thousands of children are riding on the pavements as we speak no doubt and I of course think police time and resources would be better spent on more serious matters. As above (previous post), I think the law needs modification in this particular case. In another case, BMW's should be fitted with indicators for starters.
  7. You are saying common sense vs the law; I think the latter has more say somehow. Common sense tells me I'd do over anyone who touched my kids - it would still amount to gbh / assault / et al though and I would have to face the judicial system regardless of how I (others) had been wronged in the first place.
  8. I bet there are some serious offers being compiled by other broadcasters as we speak; for all 3 of them; would love to see them walk haha
  9. Would I like his life? Of course I would! Although he probably works a lot harder than it would appear. Haters are just jealous imo; complain about anyone with money / has done well / gets away with stuff / has admirers... Saying that, violence (punching producer Oisin Tymon) is a total no-no.
  10. :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::lol:
  11. It's me being snappy (true to form); not you chief
  12. Absolutely. The copper should have spoken with the parent though, not frightened the child. My Dad never let us ride on the pavement; he would not tolerate that kind of stuff. Hard maybe, but I respected him for upholding what he knew to be the law; likewise the Policeman in this case. Personally I do think children under 12 should be allowed to ride on the pavement but the bikes would have to be speed limited; whole other realm that one. My opinion is not above the law though.
  13. Common sense does not usurp the rule of law. Get the law changed... Police should not have apologised.
  14. It's illegal to ride on the pavement, end of. Laws HA 1835 sect 72 & R(S)A 1984, sect 129
  15. Gotta agree with that. Surprised Toyota haven't sniffed an opportunity TBH. If a 70 series came with cab options, rhd and was only a bit more dosh than the bling pickup I'd order one right now. And only ever have one.

  17. Shame; I'm a stones throw from ya and am now getting requests for s/wood over h/wood; including spuce. They love DF, Larch, Mac etc.
  18. Cross to the dark side mate! softwood
  19. Good question; got boxes of the stuff
  20. I absolutely did not aim that at you - For the record please.
  21. Particularly in certain areas
  22. Got to hate Devon sometimes; has more than its fair share of village idiots who will indeed do just that.
  23. Just proves that if the Landcruiser was less money and RHD we'd all have one...
  24. I just came out the store and chatted to someone (nuther tree contractor) who bought one (double cab in met cherry). Not many issues but noisy and trade in quoted for a 12 reg was £1500!!!
