  1. Anyone got any recommendations for hoses, in particular 3/4" mult-spiral. I was very impressed with Gates megaflex and have had the usual own brands. My wondering is because I wrestled with a hellishly stiff hydroscand today; good hose and a tenth of the price of the Pirtek Pirates, but is there anything softer which is 35 plus rated??? Thanks.
  2. TJ H754 head has auto tensioning. It always bemuses me how easily the chain comes off cutting regen and rubbish in the rack; so I don't bother, I just go down with the chainsaw and it's done in 10 minutes the old fashioned way, takes less time than remounting the harvester chain and resharpening aswell.
  3. For rear roller it's got to be Kaaz I reckon; For 4 wheeled; Kaaz again, quite like Ariens, but Viking and Etestia are lush as are some of the pro Toro's.
  4. Computers were going to save us so much time and make our lives so much easier. Here we are; all stressed out!
  5. Yes sorry didn't mean to tar all with the same brush. The fact she wants to nurse is proper. However there are many hca's who are poorly paid, don't care and are now receiving training to be more caring! Kinda hope that healthcare professionals would be naturally caring! There are some very good HCA's and some dire.
  6. Tis rife, and despicable
  7. Office politics mainly; she is a clinical nurse specialist so not on wards or shifts but she is a nurses nurse, traditional and compassionate, not hard-nosed and full of BS. My goodness, some HCA's should be shot!
  8. Chalk and cheese I'd imagine...
  9. Got the pro with handle stays and front bumper etc, faultless machine, no point in going Honda. Lawnflite pro / Asuka / Sarp / Danarm / Kubota are all the same - made by Kaaz.
  10. Now that I agree with! Very true, in the NHS for starters...
  11. Yes at Trenchford... This world is too damn small.
  12. LUCKY you. Processor ash here would be minimum £45/t or more likely done on metreage roadside. Oversize oak max £35/t r/side.
  13. This was the scenario when PR kicked off, out of date info now. No diff between clean and infected price / processing / haulage anymore...
  14. 5m makes fine 4.9 / 16' sawlog assuming the timber is straight* and knot free enough? Sounds like lorry loads of material for a sawmill, not a small concern. Could still do with a handle on the overall standing volume that was cut and is on the ground in front of you...?
  15. Er, lol, no trident, no 21st century darling. Not in the way you think anyway.
  16. What's the volume in the job? If you're looking at sawlog in the sizes you mention, you should be able to move that on volume (top diameter) instead of tonnage...
  17. I'm out of date; last iphone I saw didn't have turn-by-turn gps, only google mapping; might as well use a map! Take it things have moved on? I used my Lumia satnav in anger the other day and it was flippin awesome actually
  18. Did you fell, convert and leave? That's where your weight's gone. Ask for weight ticket or sell by volume; what's it going for?
  19. Oh dear memory failure HOWEVER; as I said 0.85 / 1.15 is definately being applied in this part of the world... Hmmm, not complaining!!!
  20. Other way round. Blue book is pretty reliable and euroF abide by it i.e 25cuM on a lorry will weigh iro 21.25t. I'm processing some JL at the moment that was decked over a year ago and left rigged out in pole length; my goodness is it heavy. Bark falls off but the sap is spraying so much I keep thinking I've got an oil leak in the head.
  21. 0.85 thus 1m3 weighs 850kg green / fresh felled. Down to 0.4 after 2 years drying in the round. APPROXIMATE figures...
