  2. Voted mate, maybe you should have got the "guns" out...this guy has obviously never held a 200T at arms length (coughboth arms length)!
  3. Tight, mean, greedy? Is that someone that employs a trainee arborist sometimes costing him money and time on jobs to train, and still having to find the extra wage on a job that doesnt really stand it or need an extra pair of hands on it in order to help a keen lad that you see some promise in gain experience, that most companies wont even entertain eploying him without?...I think not!
  4. Right guys, Seems to be a few people getting excited about little Joe. We have been over this in another thread so to save explaining (not that it is anyone else's business) but people are very quick to pass comment on something they know nothing about. Here is the link: http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/business-management/4599-terms-conditions-pay-rates-particular-10.html

  14. If it was done to promote stump grinding there was too much of tree felling and chipping and not enough grinding IMO. The RG20 shoots pea gravel out like bullets, suprised you didnt take a window out! As SWB said ideal for showing your pals but not perfect for the web - look forward to the next attempt (with appropriate H&S included!)

  17. cant we all stay here? Caravan Selecta | Caravan Parks - Cirencester Park
  18. Good structure Giles, I agree you'd probably pass on that one. Maybe a couple of other points that could possibly be included (they all might score!): -Replacing existing "kit" to reduce downtime and costs for repairs etc on older "kit" therefore the hourly rate would remain consistant and be more productive -Possibly premises/yard to assist with corporate image and facilitate recycling and storage of products (firewood, chip) and reduce tipping costs etc.
  19. I think as long as your answer is logical and there is continued growth/proffit of the company it cannot be a wrong answer? There are obviously different routes for company owners to take dependant on type of work. I would like to see a "model" answer on this one!
  20. Happy days! - Congratulations

  22. nice man nice!....they would probably have paid another £10k for the property if the owner had done that before he sold it!!
  23. I'm actually fitter now I'm doing right arm curls with a baby bottle every 3 hrs!!
  24. right arm curls...usually about 5pm on Friday to wind down!
  25. Be a shame for the owner if the Beech was felled, they would have to change the house name to Beechless House!
