  1. Happy birthday Steve.
  2. Thread bumper my arse!!! How d'ya get on climbing in yer tutu?
  3. We were bollocked by some army cadets (WTF) for stepping through a barrier but were told it was okay to clamber through a hawthorn hedge then step over a fence. Capel have a few issues to sort out imo with proper security being on top of the list.
  4. Thats just you worrying. I think anyone that takes up climbing and tries to do it on a commercial level when they're past thirty is shot away. IMO it takes at least five years to learn the job which takes you to thirty five and no matter what anyone says your body is on a decline from there on and there will always be some young buck ready to jump in yer shoes.....there are some that can hack it but not many.
  5. Phil, dont forget to tell everyone how you got Tony to sign the cardboard that the sawpod is on, and how you sucked up to him all morning like he was a Hollywood star......:laugh1:BTW how many sleeping bags did you have....
  6. Absolutely brilliant!!!! Heres a few pics, checkout Plippy with a hangover.....
  7. Haha a few slugs n leeches wont kill ya.
  8. I'm just gonna bivvy up on the roundabout or crash out in a drainage ditch along the way.......You wont miss me on Saturday, I'll be the one covered in slug trail.
  9. Friday, but wont start drinking til around 7 so you'll probably catch me in the Pied Bull
  10. Well yeah, just get a mortgage....sorted:thumbup1:
  11. Me a Philistine!!!!We gave up chiseling stone down here about 500ad......
  12. What a waste of good stone. I dunno I might be missing something but it just strikes me the same as cutting up a decent bit of rope.
  13. Thats life Tony. Were all part of it so whatever happens it is all part of the natural cycle.
  14. There is however an abundance of humans. Perhaps we should start eating them. I hear they taste good.
  15. Result!!!!! I'd forgot about the bus pass:thumbup1:.....:lol:you cheeky monkey you.
  16. Yeah sounds good but a little whale hunting on the side would'nt go a miss.... I'd be happy with just doing what I'm doing now in five or ten years.
  17. Haha that aswell, boy's and their toys lol. Sold my Aprillia 280cc Climber a while back, I wish I still had it.
  18. Lovely bike John:thumbup1:I keep looking at mine cos I got the urge again.
  19. Whiskey is disgusting, I cant even stand the smell of it, well not since the age of 15 when me n me mates chipped in for a bottle and took it to the woods and got hammered... Nine bottles of Bishops Finger last night..:blushing:By christ my head is fumpin' this morning.
  20. Alzheimers can be a funny thing.
  21. :thumbup1:Yeah that makes sense.
  22. One of those small rope bags with the hole in the top and some tirfor shear pins please Justin.
  23. I won one of these in the christmas raffle and only got round to using it a couple of weeks ago. Tbh I thought it looked a bit too posey and poncy for my liking but none the less I decided to give it a try and what a brilliant bit of kit to have, no more fumblin' for the scabbard on the side of your harness. I even wore it over spikes yesterday and I can honestly say I will never climb again without one and many thanks to whoever donated it as I doubt I would have bought one and never have realised the benefits. Highly recommended:thumbup:
  24. Yeah the small porn mags take up alot less space
