  1. Nice one Phil, thanks for your help mate:thumbup: Not bad for a winning bid of £56.99 plus fuel to get to Leicester and back at £70. Shame about grinding the rack off (thanks to the seller for lending the gear) but it can be welded back if need be. Thanks again mate, I owe ya one:thumbup1:
  2. Happy birthday you old buzzard:beer:
  3. This thread is a load of cobblers Frank.......haha
  4. Sitting on my drive, all the chip n wood stayed on site so I used the L200. Bloody shame really cos I could do with the wood.
  5. Todays job. Tricky Acacia dismantle with phone lines everywhere so slowly does it. Heres Dave D doing his bit.
  6. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Jones.
  7. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKLElBQK8y0]YouTube - 45cc AMA.[/ame]
  8. Yeah its good and can only get better with a few more tanks of fuel. I'll post up a vid of it in action tomorrow.
  9. Great!!! It aint let me down yet.
  10. Haha I bought the 45cc back handle off Jonesie at Capel and used it today.
  11. I'm interested in some pics of the boats Phil.
  12. It's in the blood!!!! My nan was a topless trapeze artist in the twenties with three tits and flew by the stage name of 'Triple Nipple'.......Luckily I only have two nipples but theres no doubting the natural ability. Hahaha, she did'nt really have three tits but she was a trapeze artist....
  13. My Hare shotgun lol. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4r6na9cF7g]YouTube - Shotgun.avi[/ame]
  14. I've got an open ticket so we could use it on my shooting grounds aswell, maybe sort out a nights lamping. You me n Dave D. I tell what I'd really like to do though and thats some roost shooting and a beer n bivvy up in your woods..
  15. So how far out will you blokes shoot at a rabbit with a semi auto? For a good clean kill surely it cant be anything past 60 yds where as with a bolt action you can go out to a hundred imo.
  16. Hahaha, it's my dad's fault, he was right into cowboy weapons and so I spose it rubbed off. The M16 is .22 rimfire semi auto with a 15 shot mag.
  17. Yeah there's no restriction on any bolt actions. For rapid fire I'd go for the underlever. I had to sell these two cos I stopped going to the range which really gutted me cos I loved my underlever, I could empty it really quick.
  18. Yes a semi auto handgun is illegal but you can still own revolvers no problem. I sold a six shot .44 cap n ball a while back and you can buy these no problem, which is totally mad. The idea behind the wrist brace is so it makes it long enough to be classed as a rifle but lets face it if you wanted to go on a shooting spree the first you'd do is cut it down.
  19. You can still have handguns in this country and AK's if you want.
  20. There's a place for every calibre and actually they did away with the 7.62 for infantry because it is just too powerful and will pass straight through a body where as the 5.56 will tumble and cause much more damage.
  21. Dont wear either, they'll only make you go bald.
  22. Spot on Tony!!! Adapt and build your 'arb muscles' from an early age. My only regret is climbing on a prussik for 26 years and therefore having one side stronger than the other.
  23. Yeah and theres a reason for that and when you've done the job for twenty odd years you'll understand why and that aint being big headed. I've met stacks of blokes with five or so years under their belt that thought they knew the lot and tbh out of all of em I still employ about one percent of em, the rest just aint gonna make it past forty.
  24. Contradiction in terms I do believe. You say "It depends what practical experience you've had" and then go on to say "You could have 30 years practical experience, but it would count for nothing".........
  25. Yeah it was a shame you could'nt stay longer Toby but I'm sure we'll make up for it at the next S. East meet, I owe ya few. Thanks again for the Armour Prus:thumbup:
