  1. Sorry to put a damper on things but shoulder injurys / ligaments are notoriously difficult injuries to rehabilitate . The rotor cuff being in my opinion the worse . Good luck hope all goes well for ya . How did this occur ?
  2. Aye like Steve says double wrap . Big steel crabs are cool for swinging round limbs .
  3. Get some block paving sealant from B&Q and paint it on your problem roofing . Couple of coats job done
  4. Sometimes you have to trust your first instincts . When I quote for a job 99% of the time while I'm there I am also making a mental note of what the customer is saying ie Remove that conifer Oh and you can just do that little shrub if you want ? The later phrase would set my alarm bells ringing .You can generally get a feel for the awkward customer on the quote .
  5. I used to get cracked skin and my hands were always in a mess . Someone told me to rub Surgical spirit with castor oil into my hands . Well after your cuts have healed anyway . Since using this cheap product my hands have been a lot tougher and at £1.40 a bottle from the discount shops its a winner . I rub this stuff on Mon / Fri after work but don't use it on weekends .
  6. Both good machines although for a self employer tree worker with one groundie . I'd go for the 125 as said before you are forced to keep blades sharp. Which in turn reduces stress on bearings . The fact that I can push mine over gravel up driveways and over grass is excellent . The 125 is quite good on fuel but on a decent Connie job it gets through some juice . Sometimes because of its weight and size I can get it in some really tight spots . If I had the 150 legal or not I'd run it on red .Most tree gangs round here run theres on red and none have had any problems with PLOD
  7. I can see your point . I,ve had the big machines 935 vermeer and jobs were quicker . Although I had a few lads back then . I.ve downsized now and the TW 125 is right for me
  8. fuel costs are relayed to the customer aren't they ?
