  2. Just to let you know that helmet has worked in the gardens of Yvette fielding and Toyah the 80s singer . I can't remember what we did for her , Its a mystery lol .
  3. Nearly as cool as the owner
  4. I have run my 110 tipper for almost 10 years or possibly longer . It has been my main vehicle for the last 5 years . I also run an l200 crew cab which pulls the trailer for timber removal . Chip box size on my 110 is 7ft long by 69 inches wide and 4ft 4" in height . I also have a high tailgate which helps me fill her up . Oh and a sign written heavy duty tarp which cover's the top and sides . I have numerous tip sites in my area of operation which does help . I quite often think of going down the transit route again but I then remember the rust and lack of 4wd .To be perfectly honest my landy is cold in winter and cool in summer . Just ticks all my boxes . I am considering converting the l200 to a tipper only for log deliveries . Hope this helps . Can dig some random pics out if you wish ? Will be tomorrow though ; )
  5. Just had catch up on your post's . Theatre Royal WOW I had many happy Christmas Panto visit's from my home town of Newbiggin by the sea from the early 70s till the late 80s Hope Thunderbird 4 is still in service ? All the best in the application for the College Vacancy . Love your out look on life . We all need a Silky friend in life Later
  6. 110 all the way as this vehicle has the weight more centralised over the axles . 130 full of chip is like steering a boat in choppy waters . Chip wise not an amazing difference . I've run both and now just run the 110 tipper .
  7. Small planter .
  8. No wait a while if you can . If in doubt cut a small limb with your silky have a brew and if the wound starts to drip knock it on the head . We used to prune Silver Birch trees in early March back in 1993 now we would not get away with it due to Global Warming , Well that's my theory . Now we prune Birch tree's up until mid Jan . Even then sometimes the wound will bleed profusely . So we will stop and return later in the year .
  9. Stevie B will sleep really well tonight thanks to mister Tirfor . Really hope the tree does well in the coming years . Keep us informed

  16. My little firefox 5
  17. Love my little firefox 5 as it heats my small living room which is 16ft by 12ft .After an hour we have to open the living room doors as it gets to hot Highly recommend a stove thermometer .
  18. Absolute top fella . Met him once while working for Redrow Homes . I really cannot remember what the occasion was . Anyway I bought the man a pint . We were all clean and had nice new printed polo shirts . Whilst he had his old clothes on and top class minging hands to boot . What a guy , he actually told me when he got nervous he used to sing lol . To this day I have the up most respect for what he did and for what he stood for . Character and much more
  19. I have put barbed wire all the way round my new yard . which is a cost to me although I am intending to stay here for a number of years . I have started covering the barbed wire in old engine oil / grease and dog poo . All this to protect my logs
  20. Currently we have two yards . The first is just a field which we rent off an equestrian centre for £ 500 a year . We tip chip and logs and they use most of the chip and some of the logs . One of the big benefits is we can have a burn there in some old metal skips . Down side is theft happens all the time mainly logs . Second yard £ 725 a year and Im the only one that has access . Its basically a thinned out woodland . I going to move to the second yard asap and forget about the old yard .
  21. Must admit I know a few people that have purchased the Honda v twin 20hp copy engine . So far they have all given the thumbs up .
  22. My nearest Stihl dealer is the nicest bloke in the world and then turns into a absolute hero / cock when you have the slightest problem with your new purchase . Which is why I do not use my local saw shop anymore . I use the guys advertising on here or Buxtons All of which have been totally / honest and amazing service wise .
  23. Hope alls well with everybody on the new food approach . I seem to be constipated , well I am . Its like pooing limestone chippings . Need more fibre . Just necked 50ml of Cod liver oil that should do the trick
  24. Most excellent
  25. Cheers Ben
