1. Evening D A Tree Surgeons nice job on your trailer saw . Hope you don't mind me asking is your saw a Crossferer not sure of spelling . Whats it like , Robust wise ? What thickness log will it cut . How much did it cost and where did you purchase it . Regards Paul Bell . If you prefer PM me
2. If spiking I tend to wear Chaps which are all round protection only because I always tend to rip my decent ppe trousers
3. Nice one Paul , Keep us informed on young Conner
4. Comfort wise I find if you wear type C trousers with all round protection the padding on your spikes has been doubled up and this makes most spikes a lot easier on your legs .
5. May be a like button something similar to Facebook .
6. The young man on the ground needs telling that you should never ever wrap a tag line round your hand . Seen the wind catch the top of a conifer once and it went the wrong way .The groundie had the line wrapped round his hand . He made an epic 20ft leap across the garden . Afterwards he remarked by saying he was airborne . Lucky for him no injury occurred .
7. Volbeat Pumpin is that
8. Cheers PC tree
9. Yep if you have ever driven one especially round a mini roundabout you would probably never buy one . Domestic tree work in this vehicle = Nightmare . Parking ,Reversing is a total ball ache : ) This is just what I have observed over the years . Still the six wheel owners think they are so valuable and to be honest they are often more of a hindrance when bought . Don't let your heart rule your head . They look cool and that's it really
10. Quality firewood matey
11. Mr J Cash any time:thumbup1:
12. Carpenter's in the evening and Limp Bizkit in the day
13. Here you go Hodge . I only connect my winch to the battery when using it via big spring loaded clips . Not finished yet still got to fit the frame to hold the winch cable . Not the best place for it but as I only intended using the winch to pull the chipper to the van it has been a blessing so far. Also the added weight of the winch helps crush the brash .
14. We have a wee one on our little TW 125 . Put a pic up later for ya
15. Guarantee next time you forget how to tie a certain knot or need to refresh on a subject Arbtalk my friend is going to be here for you . See you soon
16.
Thanks Steve . Yes what a ball ache . I never clicked on either . Well spotted . Thanks Again ; )

17. Sorry Huck I will have to bow out of this debate . Obviously with you having a Mog you know everything
18. Johny Walker its the path to the dark side I tell thee

20. I really love Arbtalk but sometimes you have to understand that there is a certain click within the forum and your either in it or out of it . Simple really
21.
Cannot log on to the free listing .

22. It seems to me you quite often make wild assumptions ? If you put you yourself up for praise please please Please be man enough to accept criticism . How do you Know if I know him or not ? Do you know him ? Why do you feel the need to protect him ? All told if the lad is being praised for advancing in the tree game then surely its only just and fair he accept criticism at some point . It was up to him as an adult to let his career in tree work become public ? The young lad needs to get a grip and come on here and finish what he himself has let play out . I do wish the young lad all the best in whatever path he takes .
23. Ok Huck have you ever invested x amount of money in a young lad over an extended period of time ? Only to find he jumps ship when it suits ? Taking all the qualifications he has gained with him .Not to mention all the time / effort wasted by yours truly . This is annoying to say the least . The lad needs to man up and play the game he entered willingly . No wonder the country has gone soft .
24. Chris I hope You haven't lost to much in time/ money and effort in training the youngun .Regards Paul Bell . Kids today eh
25. I have enjoyed watching the young lad progress . It pleased me in many ways . Although to be brutally honest in the real world you take the rough with the smooth . Jumping ship is not too many miles away from burning bridges . Total respect to Chris for portraying this dilemma in a fair and just way . He seemed happy enough to be pictured and praised on here ? So why on earth should we be shy on judging the lad now .
