  1. This is what Id prefer v or w reg or older . The thing is if I had an older transit I would make a secure cage for the crew cab . Then again If I had a newer one I wouldnt want to start messing about with it . What do you think of roller shutter lockers ? .
  2. Hi all Im considering getting a Transit crew cab tipper . The reason is simple I am going to get a yard with hard standing . So I will be saying goodbye to my old water logged yard . I will be holding on to the landy for the time being .Just wanted to know what the new transits are like. The new crew cabs dont seem to be as secure as the old ones . There seems to be to much glass in them . Also can you work on them yourself or is there to much electrical stuff going on ? . Would you go for an old shape or a new model. My budget is around £5k for new shape or around £ 3k for older shape .

  16. The story with RB is quite odd . I bought it for £1300 off ebay. It came with the tipper fitted . I sold it 4 months later for £3500 to a local Drainage contractor / Tree man. I think the guy just fell in love with it . The best bit is the guy I bought it off in CAERPHILLY WALES only gave £ 700 for it . Such is life
  17. Ah yes . All hail king Stockers
  18. This is what I saw this morning on my way to work . A Willow tree had fallen and blocked the Rd . The L/A Contractors were attending also present were Cheshire Constabulary . The tree had brought down power cables and a small street light . The first two pics are taken on my way to work and the last three on my way home . The Renault RB 4X4 used to be mine three years ago and the present owner made me a real good bid so away it went . All this in my home town and I never even got a look in Dam Dam Dam I did try and rotate pics AAARRRGGGHHH .

  22. As the T Shirt says Sh#t happens . Dead trees when removing are a pain . Even when lowering limbs pieces are prone to breaking. Best you can do is minimise the damage . Looks like you did a great job with that Crane.Branches will break off a dead tree with just the movement of the climber .
  23. Yes thats the one .
  24. Sorry Im rubbish with technology
