  2. I have a double cab mk3 1996 p reg. Very reliable and always starts regardless, only stopped using it as we are too close to London lez. As others have said it is a non turbo 2.4 diesel so a bit gutless for towing. For sale if anyone interested. Sent from my D5803 using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Pm sent, thanks
  4. Anyone interested in some Holm Oak timber near Maidenhead, been asked to take this tree down this week or week after and it is a fair trek from our yard to drag all the timber back. Mature timber goes up about half way where it was smashed down too, top half load of dead straight smaller diameter timber from massive regrowth after previously smashed.
  5. Thanks, will have a look at these tomorrow. Sounds like an easy simple fix for the short term. Peter
  6. Yes they look much better, and the roller tops most people say start to leak after not that long as well
  7. Yes erring towards mountain top now, especially as I had not realised they come off so easily and you have a useful pickup bed for dumpy bags etc. This was on the truck when I brought it, otherwise would not have had it.
  8. Hi guys, went swimming with the family yesterday and took the pickup. Thought we had taken anything of any worth out the pickup bed with truckman canopy when we went inside. However on returning to the truck, a chap whose house backs onto the car park, approached us to say a car pulled up and a couple of guys forced entry to the back. He had the reg and a crime number already. Turns out they have taken the wifes boots, coat and my four year olds coat?! Anyway does anyone know if you can extend the trucks alarm into the pickup body or buy one that can be linked in, as the rear lock is obviously not secure. No apparent damage to lock and handle but it is no longer working. Our do I change it for a mountain to lid which looks more secure!? Thanks for any help. Peter
  9. Yes but as you can tell the wrong size one got put in truck, so still a lot of blowing sawdust out of gravel at the end of the day!
  10. Chestnut take down from yesterday due to declining health over the last few years and leaning over a busy road. Hollow in base was unknown till it came down
  11. No problem, very fair in there
  12. We use Country Compost Ltd, Crows Nest Farm, Breakspear Road South Hatefield, Uxbridge Ub9 6lt for our green waste, but they also take logs and chip too. 01895 622420. Peter
  13. Hi Steve, trying to reset password, but when ever I do and it says it has sent an email, nothing appears in my inbox or spam?
  14. Or headlight /indicator setup off a telehandler front mudguards. Weld a locking hinge on the light bracket and onto the rear of the winch plate either side. Can be folded back behind the winch when using winch, then swing round to position to go on the road, could always fix a couple of side market lights on the side of each headlight assembly, then all sorted
  15. We have a very old tp 860 we brought cheap to do a woodland job on our 95 hp tractor. Considering it was not well loved by the previous owner it has proved very good with little work (sharpening rollers, new anvil, few parts for pto clutch) all self contained hydraulics, would imagine the newer models are even better, certainly very pleased with ours now
  16. Poinient reminder to me and the lads how important it's is to ensure the breakaway cable is attached properly, my son has just turned 4.
  17. Now have a stacking area with access for an 8 wheeler, may still be able to sort for an artic.
  18. Hi, sorry all in sticks Oak fresh felled but died 1-2 years ago Hp7 9pz is about 1.5 miles from site, think you may be a bit far Thanks for the interest Peter
  19. Hi Guys and Girls We started clearing windblown trees as part of ongoing works on an small estate in Little Chalfont. Plan was just to stack to waste, all timber at the end of the job. However having cleared a lot of dangerous trees and found a lot more windblown, there is now a lot of timber down and cut to 2.4m length. It is mainly Birch, Sycamore, Beech and Oak. A lot processor size and some up to 1 metre oversize. Any one local who is interested (can deliver on 10 tonne timber trailer) or if anyone is interested further afield and can arrange collection I will look into finding a suitable stacking point with access for an artic (estate does not have access large enough for an artic) Any timber older than 1/2 years or rotten / degraded will be left in the wood Price has got to be worth us extracting it off site as owner is happy for it still all to be stacked to waste at the end of the wood Also a few larger sticks of oak not cut to length on site if anyone interested pm me Many thanks Peter

  23. No worries, thank-you. Peter
