  1. What Charlie said, and the high infeed is a pain in the proverbial. Moved onto a 125, and it is about 6 times quicker when you take into account less snedding etc. It is twice as much, though. I would certainly look at the small Greenmechs. I think the drum system is better for a gravity fed machine, and the infeed height is more comfortable. My 18/100 got through a lot of work for me, mind, and never missed a beat.
  2. Anyone got any sneaky little tips for upping your poundage on the bench? Stuck in a bit of a rut at about 85kg for 5 sets of 4 after warm up. Trying to mix it up with less weight/more reps and vice versa etc., but seem to have plateaued. Training with two good lads, so spotting is sorted. Technique? Supplements? Cheating? Negatives? Timewasters welcome on this one lads. (I know this isn't an 'arb' exercise like dips and chins etc., and don't care, I only want to discuss bench at the moment.)
  3. I intend to die by drowning in pussy and cider. I expect to have a huge grin on my face!
  4. Good work mate. I'd have done the same.
  5. I best come with you to help you report it Moz....
  6. I was really worried there! Noakes, Peter Purvis and Lesley Judd. Always showing you how to make presents for your Dad and Mam out of Ke**oggs Co***lakes boxes with the product name hidden because the BBc don't advertise. Happy times. Would love to see Noakesy chogging down a massive stem with an 88. I never did get a Blue Peter badge.
  7. Drowned or shot in the head? No brainer for me. Literally! Good pic Dean, very well illustrated.
  8. Noakesys not dead is he?
  9. Thought this would have put you more in Micks 'drowning is bad camp, no? TBH, I would have thought the RSPCA would have bigger fish to fry. Metaphorically, that is. I'm not condoning frying fish to death, or anything.
  10. I'm with Mick and Carl here 100%. Drowning is cruel and unnecessary. High powered air rifle/pistol shot to the brain is the answer. If you don't have the means for humane dispatch, you shouldn't be trapping them. Just because they are vermin doesn't excuse any kind of suffering.
  11. You've done tree work before, haven't you?
  12. Hama's is a good 'un as well. I'll nick that one if you don't mind, Tone.
  13. Ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! He comes on Arbtalk sometimes....
  14. Look on the bright side, Matty. Mine has been brilliant! I did have to change the spark plug for an unknown reason after not much use, mind. Worked it like a dog since with no complaints. Pole pruner head being purchased tomorrow for a specific job, in fact. Don't like the things personally, but will save half a day at least. Wouldn't have a gypsy stick near a tree that was being retained, though.
  15. All of the above and then some. Crewcabs rock! Full fence repair kit and superglue/black tape for sticking those poxy solar lights back together. Rival companies business cards to hand out if you are asked to look at pyracantha reductions in gardens littered with dog mess.....
  16. Totally agree Chaffey. With ali greedy boards, a full back full of anything bar hedge clippings is well overweight. Chip is bad enough, but packing it full of cord after a big takedown would get you hanged, I reckon. You know, like Lorry's truck in his picture? Just need to keep an eye on it. Big fines these days. Any luck yet Egs?
  17. Only on Friday afternoons Hadders.....
  18. Wise words there from a man who knows. You'd do well to heed his advice mate. Good luck with it.
  19. What kind of response are you guys and gals getting from Google searches on a basic website? I'd be more than happy if got 2 or 3 more jobs a week to price from it.
  20. Purely hypothetically Chaffey, I would agree with that.
  21. Have you moved on a bit then Josh?
  22. I reckon the guy was into euthanasia, and thought if he smacked someone as big and ugly as Dean it would save the cost of a flight to Switzerland...
  23. I'm interested in remapping as well, for fuel economy more than anything else. When you think about it, the back is empty more than half the time!
