  1. You would like to think so wouldn’t you? Mick is right though, I don’t think many people end up working for insurance companies because they can’t decide what to do with their PhD.
  2. It does, yes. I had this out with Direct Line years ago when I discovered they wouldn’t insure tippers at all. They didn’t know why, they just wouldn’t insure them. They do now. They specifically stated that any tipper was classed as a mod, and technically you were uninsured if the insurer wasn’t told.
  3. Inches away. Going off-piste on line 4 so nearly cracked it for you.

  5. 350 MWB. Yours will say ‘Camion’.
  6. My Transit doesn’t, and it’s been a tipper since it was born.
  7. ANY tipper is classed as modified, even factory built ones, and you are meant to tell your insurance company this. So you can give them more money.
  8. Any tipper is classed as modified. It’s your choice whether you tell your insurance company or not.
  9. That twisted my brain Mark! Wordle 1,175 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨🟨 ⬜🟨🟨🟨⬜ 🟨🟩⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  10. You should never do that Mark. Just think harder. I love that feeling when my brain is twisting. It will help us from dementia apparently.
  11. There is nowhere within a drive down here that sells the chains anyway, so I always order a few at a time.
  12. Or just buy Stihl chains with 57 drive links.
  13. Some context on yesterday. I kicked off with AUDIO and blanked, but eliminated 4 vowels. An E had to be in there somewhere then. S,T and R are all very common letters, so I chucked in STER. Looked at that, and the only letter that made sense on the end was N. Voila, STERN.

  15. Blind luck! I’ve stopped looking at all other streams till I’ve done mine because it ruins it for me if you get a steer. I’ll explain how it worked tomorrow when we’ve all gone.
  16. Well pottered!
  17. How’s that?!!! Wordle 1,173 2/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  18. Kirklands did my Transit as well, and were superb. I wouldn’t bother with a double cab 4x4 though. The capacity just won’t be enough imo.

  20. That doesn’t rule out a lot for me in all fairness.
  21. I think that’s a bit too hardcore Mik. It’s dangerously close to servicing/work. Surely pottering would be the kind of stuff you would happily attempt after 4 cans of Stella?

  23. A professional with the right knowledge and kit could do it. Definitely not a job for a Facebook warrior though.

  25. Agreed. Yellow card peasgood. Great thread Stevie!
