The trick is just not to do it. You’re better off shivering in your car than writing it off and the insurance company disowning you. Is it worth £30K+ to continue the journey? Good to know Mick. Next time I renew any insurance I will be sure to ask for a fully detailed breakdown of costs. Then give them the figure that I think I should be paying.
