  1. Or just have a crab in your spliced eye and choke the line. Gate outwards, like. I'm not mental. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. Borrowed this setup from Dan McLennan. Seems to run really sweet, although it was a simple up-down up-down climb. Oak tomorrow without spikes should be more of a test. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. You've made a right mess of yours Matty! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. The maths never lie mate. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. It's true. If you tumble dry them they turn into £1.50 notes. The numbers change and everything. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Did exactly the same Matty. Pantin and lanyard over the shoulder were my only attachment points. My fingers were shaking like buggery as I clipped in! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Stop wearing it down to the pub. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. I must have been climbing SRT for too long Rich. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  9. Thought-provoking stuff. That wall would never have kept the Germans out, mind.
  10. Depends if I've got my teeth in or not I suppose.
  11. You won't go wrong with XTC. I've had one for years that's been a climbing line, then relegated to light rigging, pulling, towing etc. It just refuses to die. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. 6? 4? I wasn't given a choice. I'm not registering as a contractor. If I use subbies I'll just pay them in cash and blowjobs. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. Hahahahaha! Registered. They're not exactly a barrel of laughs at HMRC are they?
  14. Thanks very much chaps, looks like I need to register then. It was the 'good arboricultural practice' thing that was the tipping point Paul!
  15. Just a quick one. Does my arb company come under CIS or are we exempt? Just about to bill a groundworks company and they seem to think we should have a CIS number. I've got no issue with getting one, but I don't particularly want to if I don't have to.
  16. Damn the editing! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. That looked well thought out Steve. Here's me and the Sequoia boys killing some compromised maples on a clearance beside a new car park. Worst had less than 20% of wood left at felling height (high because of 360 digout apprentice/part-time foresters). 20. I'm with Joe on this, it's best not to rely on your keks too much at all.
  21. At least Trump invented a new word Bigly. I like it, I think it will catch on.
  22. Nasty. How fast was it going? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
