I hope not. Their posh friends may want one, and ask for a price. Having the heavy from 20 70’ connies already at the bottom of their large garden was a pretty good start. Some of those lumps are 2’ dia 8’ logs. Loader-tastic!

Building a wood wall with some conny I stacked (badly) about 3 years ago. If I stacked it nicely in the first place I might have done myself out of some work.

It’s a lottery out there mate. You just need to try a few until you get lucky. Try NFU, Direct Line and LV for a start. Adrian Flux can also work sometimes.

Bit of a slow burner for a good mate. Doing a day a week with him helping for a few weeks. Clearing about 300m of boundary to a 5 acre spread he has bought to open up views. Overstood hornbeam hedge in front of ditch reduced to low poles. Ditch full of bramble, blackthorn and utter shite cleared. Worky Quad has been priceless on this job, taking the chipper in, pulling back leaning hornbeam and ragging tonnes out of the ditch to the landing.
