Well built with proper bearings, good engine, fairly simple to work on,good infeed etc , a good basic machine. Not sure on price ,depends if it's a genuine 500 hrs and the condition.
  2. We are and have been for 4 yrs, don't waste a load of money,it's easy enough to do it yourself.
  3. Haha yeah will do! One thing I have never done is pressure wash it or the chippers in fact , it does far too much damage for the sake of looking shiny.
  4. Same machine as mine ty and the radio is great, just hope it doesn't go Pete tong !
  5. What do you think of the fsi? My next grinder will be tracked .

  9. Not something I do these days, one thing I aren't is a s hit shifter, these jobs usually smack of cheap penny pinches!
  10. Nice work Steve, one big muther of a tree, is it privetly owned or in a park etc? Glad I didn't have to foot the bill aswell!
  11. Teng is good, I reluctantly bought a 3/8 drive ratchet 15 yrs ago and it's still as good now so money well spent. Cheap tools are false economy.
  12. Is Bacho any good quality wise? In relation to Britool, snapon facom etc?
  13. 205lt of oragon oil was £480 from another well known supplier, double the price of Rye oil ! Also there plant and tractor oil is an excellent price, will be sticking with rye from now on.
  14. Just ordered 205lt of chain oil 25 lt of tractor oil and 25lt of plant engine oil.
  15. I think the sloping hopper is a pita aswell but other than that a good machine. How much is a 6" shitslinger? ?
  16. Can you tell me why there the best? Many people say this but really can't say why! The most expensive yes but then the most expensive isn't always best is it? When I look at shitslinger the finish always reminds me of a WW2 Russian tank.......rough and ready.
  17. Jensen, forst and greenmech over a timber pup any day.
  18. A in summer c in winter sod all to do with protection it's all about keeping my lovely pins wsrm/cool.

  20. On a diesel it is only a smoke test no an immitions test. Very different and a diesel would have to be near on knackered to fail it.
  21. We already do,it's called the benefit system!
  22. If Maggie hadn't done the same in the 80s we wouldn't be so short of social housing now. Bad idea imo.
