  1. It could do with the right work! Be a shame though.
  2. It's the big f off landcruser with a massive engine. A new one is about 60k though, am sure that's what I saw on the net anyway.
  3. Dean had an amazon he's the person to ask.
  4. Right, he still owns the right to the show though I'm pretty sure.
  5. I like him for that reason. Spade is a spade, tell it like it is.
  6. Tut tut dean! I had an early 90 years ago and the gear stick came right off in my hand on the A1 :sly: was a good old bus though apart from it leaked oil from just about every orafice!
  7. I don't doubt it tom trouble is they have ford tranny engines in now!
  8. No there not crap hodge but as the years go on there getting softer /more refined, great for posing townie boys but as work trucks there not brilliant, I like landrover but just wish there was a little bit more room in them, for such a big bus there's more room in my wife's vauxhall corsa! !!
  9. I thought it broke down no so long ago dean when the fuel pump packed up!
  10. Pretty sure Clarkson owns the rights to top gear and his own production company makes it so if the BBC bin it it will go to a rival channel, Clarkson won't loose out.
  11. Wow long time no see John, hope your well. Good old baggers always gets in a pic !
  12. Beat me too it there probably won't be as much decay as you think in there but check it out. Normal app .
  13. No problems with mine but I don't tow much, none of the modern pick ups are any good for towing on a daily basis IMO, small highly strung engines and weak clutches/gear boxes.
  14. Haha no "licence " as such what he ment is a cs39 ticket and no "chainsaw board" he menu nptc.
  15. What model is yours Peter? Td5 2.4 or 2.2?
  16. Yeah there not the biggest I know but I do actually fit in ok. Tom do they still leak water in and all automotive fluids out ?
  17. I had an early defender years ago,was a good old bus and dead easy to work on,it's the new Ford engines and electrics that worry me a bit.
  18. Still toying with chopping the navara in for a 12 month old 110 double cab but I just can't convince my self it's the right thing to do. Navara has been and still is great but 100k on the clock it won't run for ever.
  19. Yeah that big ford truck was the nuts! Tom how do you fine the new defenders? They only have small engines as well. What's reliability on new defenders like?
  20. None of the modern crop is much good at towing really, ok now and then but proper work towing there pretty crap. As much as I hate landrover there about the only thing that can tow.
  21. They all look nice but why cant they produce a decent work pick up with a good sized engine ? my Navara has been great but small engine with twin turbo's are a waste of time for a working truck, I will go hilux 3l next I think.
