  1. Have to agree, i climb in fingerless gloves, love them, less damage to hands, keeps them warmer so safer and you dont get the abrasion and thorns etc... but each to there own i guess

  3. Done this a few times to customers with a sence of humor..... knock on door and ask for a bucket of hot water, give them a sec and as there walking away tell em to put a tea bag and 1 sugar in it!

  9. I got a skoda SUPERB 3 years ago and its been a great car, going to have another one. It's based on the passat, same engines same kit you just don't get the same name don't pay the same price either mind you. Been V reliable 130 bhp 1.9 TDI More room than an s class merc for peanuts........
  10. i must be a saddo then, i keep all my manuals and reciept, had the loss adjuster today and guess what, there doing there best to get out of paying me, a clause says buisness tools are office equiptment, pc, laptop etc..........Never felt so low in years....

    I expect them back but security is going through the roof for when i get the new stuff, turning my garage in to a tool vault, all locked up, alarmed, ground anchors, etc going to be a sod to get in myself but so be it, im going to do every thing to make it really hard for them.
  13. Am sorry pete, as you know i was cleraed out on monday afternoon, in total about 7k. If i can help pete i will (got bugger all mind) I got steady work coming in and bugger all to do it with! loss assessor coming tomorrow to try and rob me again. There is a hell of alot of arb kit going missing at the moment, this is organised crime and they know when your out and how easy it is to get and also how easy it is to get rid of it. bunch of Bastards.......god i hate the robbing scum bags:mad1:
  14. has any body got any details of an insurance company that will insure a chipper on the towing vehicle insurance, (for theft) i have insurance for my 3.5t tipper but they wont cover the chipper whilst its connected on the truck, there looking at doing it next year but not now.
  15. Am many of you will know about a month ago i had my KWIK Chip chipper nicked off the back of my truck out side the house, well i hav visitors again yesterday afternoon! I was out, van pulls up smashed there way in to my garage and cleans me out, saws, blowers, hedge cutters, pole gear even my sons m/cross bike and how did the get it out? through a single side window!! Lifted the lot..... comes to about 7k insurange loss assesor coming on tuesday so hopefully might get some back. left me with 2 top handles and 1 ms260......... have to travel light now lol. been told this morning i am one of 3 been done in this area sinse the weekend, watch your gear please or it will go.

  21. I tend to stear clear of building companys for this reason, the money looks good but the shite you have to take to get it aint worth it. We do a bit of site clearance but only for the smaller family run builders and then only on 30 day credit max, if they dont like tuff.

  23. drop starts or yoyo starts are allowed in the tree by NPTC on top handled saws, or it was when i did it......
