  1. i have 2 greenmech machines, a cm220 9" and a quadchip, both great machines had no real problems, round blades take some proper hammer and parts an advice back up is top draw. very good too deal with.
  2. i did it once god what a job..... it is a nice smooth grinding wheel i must admit.
  3. i have the same machine with out the back fill plate, great machine, eats stumps. you may want to consider replacing that head, i did as those teeth ar £15 each + vat and there is 31 of them! also takes half a day to sharpen up when you have to dig 31 nuts out of crap.
  4. Had mine just over a year and no problems here.
  5. you need Richard Lapish, he covers that area, i dont have his direct number but just go through planning and devolepment at leeds cc.
  6. I got a call the other day asking why I hadn't paid for my yell web site sinse last June! When I pointed out the fact that my contract was up last June and I had cancelled the web site as it was utter garbage she seemed shocked. They don't have a clue whats going on. Hibu will soon be a thing of the past hopefully along with Thompson local.

  11. disagree all you want, works very well for me. I dont lay flags but have re pointed quite a few this way. guns are for homeowners who cant do the job in the first place.
  12. the best way is to mix a dry wet mix if that makes sense, if you make a mix and leave it for 4 hrs if you can imagine that then trowel down the point lines and compact with a jointing trowel. this is fairly quick, goes off like a wet mix but is so much cleaner that a proper wet mix. guns are crap and so is dry mix.

  16. Service metals near morley Jonny. i got some last year.
  17. Hi Alan, haev looked at these machines before but never thought much of th head. if you make the changes as you have stated on the mk2 machine it will be a good spec, can you not give options of various heads, my big machine runs multi tip and i want this when i upgrade my smaller grinder. A foldable handle in 2 places like the pred 350 would be even better.
  18. I normally go in a "crutchless batman suit" and a pink pak a mac, on a push bike! seems a bit quite at the Mo?

I know this has ben brought up over the years but i wondered how people are getting on with the Stein PTT set up? My 2 lads keep banging on about a set and yes i can see th benefits of no shouting and hand gestures etc but i'm not convinced on how they will stand up in this job on an almost daily basis and while not a massive amount of money for a 3 man set up i aint going to blow 500 quid if they last 3 weeks. did think about a set of midland radio's and gel ear pieces, still PTT but a lot cheaper if they get knackered as the ear pices are about 12 quid each. feedback please............... Ta.
  20. used ours once and now going back to jonsie as it wont run! no spark at all. Moden stihl are crap.
  21. i got rid last year and put money into a good web site and have done far better in 12 months than 5 yrs with yp and smell.com! never again.
