I,ve had one of the best weeks of my life and today,it just got better. Andy Collins gave some great advice once that Arbtalk could be a great platform if used to your advantage...i did....and it has. i am now in full control of my life and this picture sums up how i feel inside right now!

Bashlins are superb!.....with velcro pads...even better!...not sure about stein pads...velcro lasts long enough.

ok.....here,s where i stand. i,ve had a great week. i,ve earned a lot of money and had a great time doing it....NOW...MY BLOOD IS BOILING AND I,M IN A VERY BAD MOOD! :sneaky2: The first Chav i see with a dog is going to wish he didn,t walk past me today!!.....Cruelty to trees is my Pet hate. London is the most camera,d place on the planet....knock on these peoples doors at six in the morning (With the law in tow) present them with spit/spade and a drivall and say,"Good morning fella...you are about to plant 100 trees today!"...........

ok....cutter gloves...not good at all in my opinion....life threatening actually...the cuffs are flared and if chipping and a twig catches the cuff it will pull you in!!...i hate them...(imo)

it was a while before i caught the train....hic!:beer:...had to offload the wood for logs and the crack is always too good to leave:D

right now...it feels like the twilight zone:eek:...ok...we re-coppiced a hazel stump and after chipping the arisings we separated the logs and the cordwood suitable for weaving etc...i reduced a long hedge and dismantled a big conny while Big Clive went to Fletchers to pick up his new toy.:thumbup:i put on some big logs to christen it and pulled them up hill...a great day and Delabodge paid me very well as usual....he rewards hard graft...and finnished of with a few swiftys before catching the train home...a great team to work for:):)
