  1. My new Gecko,s are a thing of beauty! The last few trees i,ve taken down i,ve had to do without spikes..one was a large oak soaked from the rain and covered in Green slime..not fun:blushing: but i did it...now i am earning again i have been adding bit by bit and now have a complete modernised climbing system:thumbup: the next big dismantle will be luxurious with my Pulley saver,spiderjack and Gecko combination:biggrin: HAPPY DAYS!

Certainly is looking good:thumbup:...Sawpod is one of those things that EVERY professional Arborist should have...My Silky is my favourite tool and have used it over my climbing saw many many times..if you know how to use it..it can be so effective. Cut and hold is my favourite procedure and this is when sawpod comes into it,s own! SAWPOD RULES!!

  10. good for you Veg! got a demo from Ted at the APF..What an innovation:thumbup: Saw him move a high reach chainsaw with his fingertips! it uses hydrogen gas which apparantly lasts 5 or so years...Great price for a great product:cool:

  16. SHAZAM! VERY, very comfy. Great Visibility... Low profile...Ear defenders sweep down smoothly and back up inside the helmet..

  18. mistahben...Red sounds really cool...i used the carbon fibre ones with velcro and liked it a lot... got the Aluminium ones though..they are a quality spur no doubt about that:D Old mill...The pfanner protos is way ahead in terms of comfort..sticks to your head..low profile...Great visibility!! the only way to test its venting ,usability would be to climb,work in it..and it aint on sale until mid October..your head feels so safe inside it:thumbup: watch this space..i will get one and i will review it....
