  10. I would have said Stretch airs in the past...but after wearing Stihl X-fit for the last couple of months i am convinced they are ammongst the best wether climbing or grounding....if not the best...they are highly visable..extremely confortable...keep their shape. 18. They are meant to be Peacocks...on the green once stood a Mansion House occupied by two sisters..the local folk would say that when they walked around the village they looked as proud as peacocks...when they died they left all their money to the old church and in their honour the Yews have always been clipped..it is a remarkable building...
  19. Final job of the week...a lightning hit tree...Liam was looking forward to this one.it is on Bedfont Green which is a high up part on the outskirts of London in the Shadow of Heathrow so he was able to see right inside the airport...simple removal of the top. An interesting Church dating back to 1700 was over the road from us with two fine old Yew trees(my favourite tree). Got some great logs from the job and a nice slab which i shall hand finnish into a table or bench with the back being made from the Elm (Which is ready for planing and Sanding)...i love wood. It brings out my creative side:rolleyes:
