  11. As my thread creeps closer and closer to 100,000 views,it seems ironic that i am writing about my Favourite and most personal of any tree i have met. As i climbed down from its large green crown i noticed a dead hanging branch which i collected and brought home.i partially removed the bark which felt like it was welded on,far tougher than any bark of any Yew i had seen.i gave it one ruff sanding and that's all.no other treatment...i call it "The heart of Llangernyw" due to the heart shaped mark on it...who knows how old it is...when it first began to grow from the tree or when it tore out...wikipidea describes the tree as the second oldest "non clonal" living thing on the planet...it is my most favourite tree and maybe one day i should like my ashes scattered beneath it:rolleyes: But the stick is a gift from the tree to me and i find it beautiful...one charactetistic of it,is that it is incredibly heavy:confused: Long live the Llangernyw yew!
  12. It seemed to be on the horizon...anyhow....the story continueth:)
  13. Why does the word "Bondage" spring to mind when i read that OMT?...i dread to think:rolleyes:

  15. Good choice! Best of luck:thumbup:
