Carlisle...i think that,s stan laurel country and they have an oprganisation devoted to Laurel and hardy called "Son,s of the desert"..Carlisle is beautiful...The North of England and Scotland are Magnificant and we have a character which is unique to the U.K..we have real weather to deal with and have always been the last priority of the government warm and snug in London shire throughout history so it has made us hard and independant that has given us a determind-ness! and our own sense of humour,music,outlook etc and of course as i said before, our friendliness:itsme: and New year is a time we can put all these things together because we really know how to party up here! ROLL ON NYE!:thumbup:

What a fantastic few days it,s been so far and i still have the Main Event...NEW YEARS EVE! North Eastern Style! i will have to return here in a couple of years for good...I belong here..you can tek the lad outa Durham but ye cannat tek Durham outa the lad:biggrin: it,s so friendly here and i have a wonderful famiy...Been entertaining my nephew who is from Newcastle and he showed me a video he likes...so i thought i,d share it and it shows why the local lasses here are the best in the world (After oriental:001_rolleyes:)...and the best accent!
