  2. This has to be one of the best years I can remember for Autumn colour so far.My neighbour's Tree just keeps getting better and better!
  3. As well as listening to ABBA...[emoji2] I am pottering on in local gardens.I was supposed to be somewhere a very long way from this Isle around February but due to the current state of play I am keeping my cards close to my chest until I can begin where I left off at the start of the year.Next year hopefully,or later it makes no difference there is no deadline...but it will be significant....and definately life changing.In the meantime....Heres a college of two pictures.One I recieved from the Optitian yesterday and the other I took this morning...continuing my Orangy/red theme.Have a great Weekend y'all.?[emoji521]?[emoji521]?

  6. The weather turned again yesterday and most of the leaves are soggy and trodden into the ground along the avenue of limes but that doesn't stop me from enjoying this amazing season.It brings out the Orange in me.???

  9. The limes around the Cathedral are all dropping their leaves like spilt paint....but the trees around the riverbanks are colouring up nicely.

  12. The tree has reached it's peak and looks incredible with the blue sky.Definately a good day to explore the woodland nearby and search for Autumnal colour.
  13. These old films are quite wonderful I saw a coloured and speed adjusted film that was well over one hundred years old from France showing a snowball fight.Really incredible to be able to look right back into time.

Whilst on the subject of Autumn colour I have to share this picture that Facebook reminded me of from this week but back in 2012 around the time I began this thread It shows Hammadryad and me in the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew just as we happened upon this Wonderful sight.The contrast of the yellow amongst the green. My favourite Autumn colour picture.
  20. The swirls in that Walnut are gorgeous[emoji7] Rough Hewn,the pig iron nails however are not Forset2Furniture[emoji26] But still a very nice slab. Will it still be used for furniture?
  21. Hi Stuart...I like the picture of your battery saw next to the chopper.I trust you enjoyed using it? For smaller pruning and not so smaller cutting I will always use battery power from now on.Have done for a few years now[emoji106][emoji367]
