  1. i had a guy say to me that i was a vandal for removing some trees on a development project and that if there wasnt a fence between us he would give me a good hiding. I politely held the fence wire down for him and offered him a hand over, yet surprisingly he didnt take me up on the offer. i wonder if it was the fact i was holding a running chainsaw in 1 hand or he knew i would of knocked his teeth out!
  2. it was bad considering the guy was hestas registered and issued a safety certificate on the installation. 10 days later it went up in flames. been 6 weeks so far without a oven, hob or kitchen wall!
  3. we just had 1 installed and the company installed it too close to the wall and it caught the timber stud work and insulation alight within the plaster board one night. woke up at 6 to find kitchen and lounge filled with smoke! put my boots on and kicked holes in plaster board stuck the hose in and cooled it off. we are in the middle of having the 14 grands worth of damage repaired by the insurers. if your gonna do it make sure its done proprerly
  4. i did a few months work for a forestry firm in australia, mainly felling and timber skidding with an old winched up Cat D6. when i came back to england i started out my fencing business which slowly got bigger and funded my plans on moving towards arb / forestry work
  5. i had defenders in the past and spent every weekend fixing the damned things. went to a hilux a few years ago and couldnt be happier, more comfortable to drive and doesnt leak, can also turn right without having the window open!
  6. i saw that, didnt really answer the question the guy asked either!

  11. you sure its not a new hybrid tree. firstly fruits a tin can then provides a tasty filling and when its time it seals the tops and drops its bountiful goods
  12. hot water in flask.............pot noodle on the dashboard
  13. im currently selling around 2 x 1.5cm3 loads a day at moment. mainly birch and hornbeam with a small amount of ash, was felled in july last year and was selling that same winter with no problems at all. plenty of repeat custom and no complaints about spitting or being hard to light
  14. raced at the same track but in the fast eddy championship, but never saw the wec round. eddy is a nice bloke, speak to him in passing at every round, alot better atmosphere at enduro than at supermoto and mx events. at the last round at the army base in kent i saw eddy wheelie off a roadside kerb and cleanly clear a 10ft wide ditch!
  15. i never really regarded club level prizes as much cop i raced motocross since i was 11 or 12 but was always more about having a laugh with ur mates on the bike. well done for the third place in championship mate. if u ever compete in the gbxc or fast eddy rounds come say hello. we did the 12 hour tough one event in wales this year, that was an eye opener. we're off to a extreme enduro test in london on saturday so should be interesting
  16. which events do u race at arc? do u do any of the fast eddy or gbxc rounds?
  17. had it done to me by 2 companies this year, only just got paid for work i did back early march by another. all housing / construction related.
  18. why not just use a 360 excavator, will run rings round any wheeled loader or backhoe attachment for linkage. how come you need over 200hp?
  19. ha ha ha you done it justice now mate!
