  1. Firewood tastic Nowt better than warming your toes on 160 year old beech
  2. There is some great rigging but to the average client it will all look the same, get some video footage of you tidying the job,the chipper going, the grinder working, trimming a hedge get some variety in there.I would also try and get more camera work from the clients view, it was good though. Take out the falling timber in reverse as a client will ask you "ive changed my mind put that branch back on, i seen it in your video"
  3. Best video ive seen in ages, fantastic

  9. how much are you actually losing?? most are not working anyway so do a couple of shifts for nowt and get the chance of a full time job, the way i see it is if you are prepared to work and do a bit more than the other person you will get a job- simple. i am sure like most ive done my share of working for nothing to finish a job that was either underpriced (weve all done it) or hit problems with breakdowns etc. People now want everything handed to them without sacrifice, i just dont see the world running like that, see the big picture a few days not paid and get the chance of a full time job that creates a life for you and your family.

  18. Why fix it if its not broken? if your climring style is working for you stay with it, i tried the hitch climber vt set up ( ive plenty time on my hands to experiment), i liked it to start with as it was such a different style to the blake hitch i climbed on, but after a while i think the novelty factor wore off i started to have problems with it so im back on a blake and split tail and it now feels faster than the hitch climber and vt.
  19. the spelling ?
  20. found some. the spout turned to feed into the box and i had barn doors on the back for tipping, the chipper hopper had a lock so i used it as a tool store to and from jobs, it was a bit high to feed but it was never designed for dragging massive heads to the unit, it was constructed from 25mm x 25mm with an inner skin of 2 mm either alloy or galvanised steel (i cant remember) but it was mounted on a seperate tipping chassis with a 5 ton underbody ram. i think i had it about 11 year ago.
  21. just unlucky and my modeling career never took off.
