  5. As i am a loler inspector for arb equipment, does this mean i can check kit eg. strops, slings and D shackles from other industries? My brother is a carpenter/gallery installer and he needs his kit checking. Can i check small gantry equipment? How often do i need to re train? I got made redundant a few weeks ago, so i am seeing how far this loler stuff will take me. Thans for all your help.
  6. i bottled it as well. i went private to the eye hosp in london. sat in waiting room all ready to sign the dotted line, when a lad came in with his father he was screaming and pleading the docs to do something about the itching. at that point i took 5 and slooped out. i dont even like going to the opticians. there is always the "what if" your eyes are pretty important. big choice
  7. i got a pair fitted at donnington last year at the moto gp. £60 with filters in. they arrive in the post a week later from the company that make them. you can get all sorts-- some with ear phones in , other filters etc. i wanted a pair with no filters in, solid state, but they came wth filters so i tried them. good. i can chip and use a saw and hear a person talk to me-just.even good to sleep in when the pup is howling downstairs. pm me if you want more info.

  22. thanks for all your advice. i have put 4 cats on strings up there and will give the bro in law my air rifle, while dropping a large net from a helicopter over the whole tree and have stuck a gob in the base ready for felling. oh and covered myself in joop and rubbing myself like a dog in badger shi* on the trunk. h
  23. My brother in law has a big pine in his front garden and it is home to pigeons. He want the tree down because of this, i am trying to save the tree as it is quite impressive and it would be a shame to come down. I climbed it the other day and stuck a load of cd's on strings to scare the birds {i thought the windows 98 one would do the job} but alas they are back. any ideas anyone to keep them at bay and stop them shi*ing on his motors? cheers
  24. you just wasted a bit more writing that comment lol
