  1. I dont know anyone that climbs with 2 ropes????
  2. How can it be too high off the floor? That was the job spec. The hinge was left big because I was trying to fell slowly so I had time to lean against it while I pulled my phone out of my pocket to film it going over so I could then upload the video on YouTube and show other part time tree workers my efforts. It was all calculated. There was no pulling out too quick.
  3. Frank

    who's the daddy?

Amzing news. Good times ahead. All the very best to your new "family". I bet little Mali will be a right "daddies little girl". You now have to learn to operate on zero sleep and have to try and figure a way of being able to say NO sometimes. As hard as it will be to say to your little princess. Well chuffed for you. I'm jealous now.
  4. Ok ok. I realise that it's just the change in camera angle that makes the chipper look to have moved position. Don't know how much gonads that would have taken. I mean, really, what damage would a Christmas tree like that do to the beast that is The Bandit.
  5. No hinge? Looks like a Massive chewy hinge to me. Infact it looks mostly hinge. Haha.
  6. Anyone want to rate this hinge??????
  7. I love the way you pulled the chipper out the way, then felled it, then reversed back up to make yourself look brave.
  8. Or a lack of judgement???
  9. Any chance that they might be available in different colours to differentiate between a piece of tree equipment and screw-fix's finest? Maybe green? Or even some sort of camo? Like real tree pattern? Mmmmmmm real tree.
  10. That's the one. Right there. Top marks.
  11. I think you will find that the slanted cut is where a dogs tooth cut gets it's name from. Am I wrong?
  12. Looks really good. Does it come with padding for laying on whilst having lunch?
  13. Depends on what your getting for £500. Give us a link to another website that has been designed by the same company for the same money and we can say wether it is value or not.
  14. Yeah and I'm just letting you know that I'm not interested. But only really because of the distance. You would have to charge phenomanal fuel bills.
  15. That video was awesome, i learnt loads from it and gonna use some of those "tricks" on a pine tommorrow over a greenhouse, I dont even need to get the customer to move their cars now. It will work because I have seen it on the internet.
  16. Yeah but can you imaging having to hand over £280 squid to Mick for him to just basically chauffuer logs about.
  17. Lets be honest. The avatar makes you look like a right wooley woofter, and infact adds years to your already rapidly ageing mug. You and Steve Bullman will be setting up an account with "Just for men" shortly.
  18. For £280 I would rather disc up small and handball, than have you sat eating sandwiches and drinking tea in the cab, flicking the odd switch here and there. Looks like it will just be Plippy on his mates rates getting your Haulage contracts mickey love.
  19. Theres alot going on in that stump pete, it looks very technical and isnt a thing of beauty is it. Theres a lot of thought gone into it though. Would it have been easy with the old slash from the back technique that Mike Hill has been promoting???
  20. glass of Rose'? Happy B'day mate. Old git.
  21. Have dealt with 123reg, never a problem.
  22. Trial and error. Also depends on what area you live in. How much demand there is. How much competition there is. How much did the wood cost you? Would it be easier, quicker and profitable to offer selling it loose in bulk amounts to shift it quicker?
  23. Nice one. I like your thinking.
  24. That sounds more like it hahaha:001_tt2:
