  5. According to a young lad near here that just passed his basic tickets, the instructors recommend sharpening everytime you fuel up.
  6. Fire needs Oxygen to burn.

  8. East coast getting a battering aswell. Just ran outside in my slippers to retrieve the wheelie bin and the patio furniture.
  9. £200 call out including first hour then £100 per hour thereafter. Nah, Rob says he has put 2 guys money on it already, thats good enough for me. So long as I can knock the tops over in a one-er and not mess about with lowering ropes or hedge trimmers.
  10. I'll come and help, so long as there is food on offer. I love bashing conifers.

  12. only an 80% for me. Got a bit of a road trip 2moro so might not be up for another one. Plus weather looks shocking.
  13. It would be against trading standards surely to advertise 24hr call-out if you didn't have a team on call to go and handle anything. Even more so if you turn your mobile off and dont have an office or..... If you like a drink in an evening.
  14. Yeah, charging a fee is a really good idea. Haha
  15. Yeah I saw you slow it down, but you still never know. Haha. Thanks for the info on the camera. Maybe I might make some documentaries. Haha
  16. Nice video, Sure youve been asked before but what camera setup is it, (any links?) also, when doing your final cut, if you step cut by putting your cut majority of the way through and then doing a little notch above this at the back, you can lift the piece off safely thenjust finish the cutt off. Stops the last piece nearly sliding off the end of the bar uncontrollably and potentially hitting something. Like a colleague, or a car, or similar. haha Nice work though.
  17. Erm...... Nothing. We have all done it but just been far too embarrased to take photos. Hahahah Good when bigger pines and stuff hold on as it makes it really easy to disc up.
  18. heres mine. Bought about 8 days ago. My first Land Rover. Only spent £94 on repairs so far. Loving It. Not sure I will ever want another make of vehicle.
  19. Now that needs some MUD.
  20. erm......................might be ok if you were heli-logging.
  21. That hinge is in essence perfect. It is actually a hinge.
  22. That looked awesome but I have no real idea what it does or how it works. Can you do a short video explaining it with spoken word because Im dumb.
  23. Battery light was glowing as you drive which is usually a sign of alternator packing in so seeing as the battery was managing to start her up I had figured on alternator. Anyway. Damage was done. Damage was fixed. I'm just gonna periodically replace every single part until they are all new haha.
  24. Had my first taste of proper Land Rover ownership today. The alternator has been on it's way out but I wanted to get a couple of jobs out the way before I took the time out to get it fixed. Anyway, made a couple of short daft trips yesterday and after a chilly over night stand the battery just didn't want to do it this morning. So in my wisdom I took the battery out (which set the alarm off) and brought it inside to give it a 5 minute boost charge with my industrial charger. Then got sidetracked chatting to my lad about homework and forgot about it. Went back to the shed about 15 minutes later to find the battery had expanded in size and was bubbling. Not good. Luckily my groundie turned up in good time so we robbed the battery off his L200 and went to get a new battery and alternator. Wasted half the day but was worth it as everything seems to work better now. Lights seem brighter etc. Haha. I love my Land Rover.
  25. Postcode?
