  1. silky, strop, edelrid caulk bag (for bensons and zippo), first aid kit, sling, krab, redirect pulley,
  2. haha and then just never pay em. Seriously though, lets not be cheap skates. Ive got homeplugs all round, including on the Xbox360 and the Wii and connection is constant and really fast. Bout £80 quid for set of 2 and then you can add more, worth every pound. Just depends on whate rate you get from your local exchange. If I build a house it will be fibre optic all the way to the suppliers
  3. I'll put you a good price in, but I can tell you now it wont be cheap.
  4. Home plugs are best bet for speed and connection, but if you must have wireless then defo search the airwaves for someone who hasnt got a password.
  5. you bring em, we'll wear em.
  6. Cheers for the link mate. I'm on it. Found a local company who specialise in this field and have done a few transits. Fairly cheap as well.
  7. I only ever use a bowline with a yosemite tie off, just cos I like it slightly neater. Use half fishermans knot for all rope treminations. Alpine butterfly is good for attaching to tow bar. Bowline on a bight I use for attaching to the large eye underneath a tracked chipper for pulling stuff over. I think Karabiners do limit your knot "needing" alot. However I also believe that an arsenal of knots is very important. Good thread Ed.

  16. anyone got the Sherrill catalogue??? looks a good bit of lavatory-side literiture
  17. I'll do it if you pay the diesel bill, and I want sandwiches aswell. Start at around 2p.m and knock off at 4:30pm???
  18. sweaty boots, scabby skin and some sawdust???? Come and work for me.
  19. course it depends on what the climber can do. straight outta college subbying for £100+, Forget it. As a contract climber you are almost the specialist being brought in, and should be able to handle anything, in any situation. That costs. I charge what I charge but dont expect a site visit or anything, just tell me where and when, i'll be there with me spikes on, smash it down and help you drag out.

  21. Surely it depends on what you can bring to the party, I come with Transit tipper(chip box), 2 climbing kits, full rigging kit, all my own saws (6),own fuel and oil, own insurance, own flask and sandwiches, own Bensons. Worth more than £120, hell yeah. £25 per hour???
