  2. I would have gone over to pay him with a sarnnie in my hand and wipe my nose and rub it in the sarnnie in front of him and do it like it`s normal.
  3. there is a dead horse in the second picture!!!
  4. nice work mate, I can see ratchet straps being a pain because of the amout of pulling up needed, a winch might be better not to sure
  5. thanks for that input jim moving on lol
  6. If anyone is unsure on how to get to the chat room, go to top of any page in the forum and you will see a line of yellow squares(buttons) click on the button with CHAT on it and let the new window load , then treat it as on here.
  7. no you should be fine i think the L200 has a 2.5 tonne tow limit. you have a pre 1997 licence so towing is already on your licence. I would check you licence as above post and check with a mitsubishi dealer in regard to towing weight of L200.

    Eucalyptus

got some in the shed, it`s been in there for 2 years. Nice and dry and most of the bark has fallen off. It can be difficult to split but if you cut logs short it will split down o.k. Caution on a open fire even when dry it will pop a bit but not to much. good heat from it and simliar to oak quiet slow to burn but hot. i would say 7/10 overal
  9. £24 for a 5ft er the but is about 4 inchs round might need the 361 to do a bit of trimming to get it to fit in the holder!!!!
  10. ohhhh top stuff folks, wish you had put a hat on the gnome!!!!LMAO
  11. great pictures folks , love a bit of snow. here is a really good weather website if anyone is interested http://www.netweather.tv/
  12. the very first part of cs38 is to tie a 3 knot system, i was always told if you dropped you prussick(major climbing errors if you did) or cut it maybe up a tree you could get yourself down!!! Most carry spare loops or cord but it could happen.
  13. Foremost have laid off quiet a few lads, many others that did utility work around the south have to. some of the staff are moving over to the power company i have heard.
  14. nice picture Cordwood could be a bit more tonight if the forcast is right
  15. the 86 series fords were good , i think the best and most reliable powershift box made at the time and maybe even still. Am i right in saying it was a Funk gear box?
  16. but that isn`t the electrics fault that is Valtra for ya!!!! good electrics will last a good few years, i had a 6290 from new and it was fine but now hearing things that it is starting to mess about and it is 8 years old. Electrics are good on new machines
  17. one of the best MF `s but i do like the electrics and toys GARTH next you`ll be saying you like no cabs and 2 wheel drive
  18. i think there is a few features mising in the MF software but as you say all else the same
  19. the MF is the same as the Fendt, you can mix power and speed to what ever you need, so you can do 40kph at 1500rpm or 40 kph at 2200 rpm or 5kph at 1500rpm or 5kph at 2200rpm all by mixing the power to speed knob. Then you can select the mode so by pushing the foot throttle it will just rev the engine to varing the speed with engine at set speed. Takes time to set up but really good when you get the hang of it.
  20. is it a vario box then by Fendt or a different system? The vario Fendt box is the dogs danglies drove a 7495MF with that box and it is so easy when you have your computer skills uptogeather
  21. ohh i want one now , i miss playing tunes with the exhaust by changing the dynashift up and down
  22. ahh quality, i have seen a few up close but never driven one or ridden in one. alot of ££££ but i gues worth it
  23. is there a load bay behind the cab or is that for the rotating cab?
  24. only other damage likely to occure is the groundie`s arse being kicked all up the road and maybe your sore foot! caught a bloke doing it one day to my own rake , it was fine head first but then he tried to turn it round and go handle first, alas he was a big lad but he didn`t put my rake in the hopper!!
  25. be organised in everything you do 1)clearing the site under a climber so he knows what your going to do next!! 2)taking equipment out and be sure to return it to where you found it!! 3) methodical chipping or stacking of timber all clean with no stubs left on to rip your trousers 4) get the timber the right length not ohh that will do! 5) if your chipping brash make sure it will fit before trying to jam it in the hopper,2 mins with a saw saves bloody ages when chipping up! 6) taper larger wood that will be chipped as it feeds alot easyer and less likley to crush your fingers. 7) If you brake something admit it nothing worse than a bent/broken piece of kit and no one owns up! 8)leave the mobile in the van! 9)leave the domestic`s at home! all comon sense really one last thing tea breaks and lunchtime talk to who your working with not sit there texting or your head stuck in the NUTS mag! good luck
