  1. Thats right, show intent of your proposed works. Also it seems the LPA can grant you permission straight away on receiving your intent instead of making you wait for 6 weeks! Damn those in power!!!! Avatars, i just keep finding images of women and power tools!!! dont tell the missus!!!!
  2. In the case of fruit trees, work can be carried out under a TPO if the tree is not cultivated on a commercial basis as long as the pruning is carried out with good Horticultural practice and in the interest of fruit production. Chapter 6.17 TPO Blue book! Also a TPO cannot be applied to bushes or shrubs but in the secretary of states view a tpo is made to protect trees in a hedge or old hedge which has become a line of trees of a reasonable height and is not subject to hedgerow management. Other legislation controls hedgerow removal. But if they are with in a conservation area you will have to ask permission to your LPA under section 211 of the TCPA.
  3. wason my man you well?

Just any ex army store, they usually have a few with a bit of dodgy stitching and they are the ones you get for a tenner. Great jacket too, seem fairly indestructible. I bought mine from AWOL in Bristol but there are many ex army stores about.

I use the ex army goretex jackets, cost me £10, stay bone dry and if you break em, buy another!!!!! My partner washed my Tux jacket last week, what goes through there minds when the door to the washing machine is open!!!!!!
  6. I have or am still doing the Online Tech Cert at Myerscough and am siting the resit for law tomorrow. Truthfully unless they sort the online courses out i wouldn't go to them, i heard if your at the college its great but for me the online support and notes were useless. 2 out of 20 people passed this year so far. The notes and info on what to expect were not adequate. Tree life all the way i heard, although i will look to do a degree or MSc somewhere else after. You can never have enough learning.
  7. Anyone come up with a place to go for a drink yet? In Worcs after Xmas?
  8. Just let me know boys and i will call in also.
  9. It was that cold this morn that my chipper starter motor froze solid and couldnt get it to start, after driving home to fix it it started first time!!! TW@*ing thing!!!! Any way the weather, brrrrrrrrr!!!
  10. You and me both!!!!

I have just bought 25kg of ammonium sulphamate from a supplier, you guys reckon it is banned?
  16. A new version has just come out of these trousers according to the suppliers which have the zip clasps sown in, and now wont break!!!! Mine have been replaced no questions asked, so good trousers and good warranty!! awesome
  17. Awesome trousers, but am on my second pair in less than 3 months due to the zips breaking at the bottom, the suppliers replace with no problems which is good!!!
  18. Always seriously tighten then check the chipper shoot before driving off into the distance! Or else some nice old lady will tell you that you have left something behind on the road!!!!! Broken and bent!!! b@ll@cks!
  19. there is a web site called knackerednavara.com or something, i remember seeing it on a truck somewhere. I think it is designed to warn people from the vehicles!!!! See what you think, its obviously biased!
  20. Hey all as i set about my tipper in august i thought i had better show you how it has turned out. First image is obviously construction and the second is a finished product. The canopy rolls all the way down the back to the drop tail and you can tip with it down too, this keeps and weather off the kit and also prying eyes!!! The ladder rack is built in to the truck and the canopy fits around it neatly. Im happy enough and also learnt to weld from this which is good as my aging Vermeer needs looking after!!!
  21. im in please!!!!
  22. Ive go a 2003 D22 and so far its pretty good, filled with kit all day long and tows trailers and chippers everywhere. I reckon about 27 mpg too. Not a bad truck to be honest a bit bouncy on the ride on long trips, rear wheel drive too when you want so you can drift it sideways in fields!!!!!
  23. I always let knowledge, appearance and applied credibility do the work, you will always be beaten by somebody on price but if you can warrant your work with efficiency and proffesionalism then it's justifiable. I was beaten on a job by 30 quid last week, what is left us long tear down the trunk and a pile of brash for the owner. Lesson learnt by them!!!!! Some people are driven by the lowest price but if u work well then your work is justified for the cost!
  24. I charge 330-350 for two guys all the kit and brash chipped and removed if needed. Most people seem happy with that. It depends on the job to be fair.
  25. Not sure if i am doing something wrong but i am now on my second pair of stretch airs in as many months due to the fly zip giving in and breaking. I am no gymnast and therefore not doing extreme splits but this shouldnt be happening.
