  1. Got one of these. Very good. Cheap on ebay http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/4441593.htm?CMPID=GS001&_$ja=cgid:17470601073|tsid:59157|cid:199887993|lid:94415121153|nw:g|crid:74692317393|rnd:2826799294942146031|dvc:m|adp:1o2|bku:1&gclid=CK_Qt5-Lw8oCFSX3wgodtawECA
  2. Who are the splicing courses with? Nod?
  3. Some wicked prizes so far.
  4. Two Keema nans. My goodness
  5. Sorry, Should clarify. REF. Dinner. I had Pizza and I will probably have Cheddar on my crackers
  6. What sort of Crisps? I've had my dinner. Fire is lit and going to have Cheese and crackers later.
  7. I shall wait for updates!
  8. Thank you for your kind offer but I have my dinners all planned out for next week and I think a change in personnel could have disastrous consequences for my forthcoming dinners.
  9. Chicken was nice
  10. Controversial post alert I wouldn't get Gerry's book at this stage in your career. The AA guide to good climbing practice is the best book for learners imo. Tree Climbers companion used to be the "go to" book but is sorely in need of updating. Gerry's book (as admitted by the man himself) needs an update as well. The other bit of advice I would give is don't practice until you get it right, practice until you can't get it wrong. Big difference!
  11. My dog is Red Mesterh, does this matter?
  12. Sad. Seemed like a nice bloke. Liked his films. RIP
  13. Would be a grand idea. Don't know what that would mean for my chicken though. Really don't think it would last any longer
  14. I feel I should add the flapjacks were prepared well away from the chicken, just in case any vegetarians are reading this and thinking of future trades
  15. What was the sandwich. I may have flapjacks available
  16. Bacon and potato actually
  17. I case my above post wasn't clear, I had a pie for dinner, not chicken. Sorry for any confusion
  18. Result mate. I got home and found that the wife had cooked a load of pies and whatnot. I was going to have chicken for dinner tonight but probably going to have chicken tomorrow now. Don't think it'll keep
  19. Knocked this up yesterday for a mate. 4m lanyard
  20. Model plane, football and a poker. All in same tree, all thrown to retrieve the previous item!
  21. Tricky to get the core out and by all accounts everyone else that spliced it said that you need to taper the core to have any hope of doing it! Finished it out of spite really!
  22. Ebay mostly. There was a brilliant stall selling cheap books at the APF last time
  23. Rope is Safari Kern unless I'm mistaken
  24. That's very cool mate
