  1. Well done mate. Congratulations
  2. Terrible news. How on earth did he manage to sever both legs?
  3. What time does this one end?
  4. You'll have to do better than that Lee!!!
  5. Bodge on the Oil cap of the 020.
  6. Did someone post this about a month ago? Doesn't matter though, Absolutely awesome video.
  7. The knife is probably the sharpest thing in this thread....
  8. Excellent. I look forward to it mate.
  9. Any video of it Mick? Someone said that it was on the telly
  10. If it wasn't, it was when they'd finished.....
  11. Cool mate. Nice one.
  12. Oh God....:scared1:
  13. Excellent!!
  14. It has 2 spliced eyes instead of being a loop. I don't know what material you are using, but Armor Prus has a very high melting point so it means it lasts longer as long as you don't bomb it out of the tree. As Matty says, When its tied, The vt break to allow the rope to move through it and when weight is put in the system, it grips.
  15. All you need is the micro pulley. I'd go for the hitchclimber. DMM Hitch climber rapide pulley (bearing) | F R Jones and Son
  16. You've won the friction cord
  17. Short for Valdotain Tresse mate. Knot tied with an eye to eye split tail and a micro pulley. Self tends when there is enough weight below the knot.
  18. You've spoilt it now!! I was going to see how many people fell for it!!! haha!!
  19. Very sad to hear. Thoughts to his friends and family.
  20. Great pics Robert!!!
  21. Good for if you need to take in slack one handed. Like someone else said, Pick up a copy of the Tree Climber's Companion or search though some of the old threads here and have a look at some of the other systems that are out there. Best of luck mate.
  22. £15 for micro pulley. Couple of quid for hitch cord and you already have the crab to attach it.
  23. Good job mate. Well done. Bet there was loads of sawdust by the end .
  24. Welcome mate.
  25. What's up next Mick?
