1. Tricia is not a decoration she is an integral part of the Gustharts team
2. Good effort, jacket looks spot on!
3. I cant honestly remember mate, was months ago he ordered the stuff. Just in the last week we've seen the machine as it currently is.
4. Not as such, we haven't carried out any of the work. He's done all of that himself, its his little project! Sourced the parts for it though, all had to be specially ordered in from US and some things he wanted weren't available.
5. Don't see too many of these through the shop so thought I'd share with you. Customer brought it over from the states and has been refurbishing it. New tank housing, handle assembly, top shroud, starter assy etc etc! Newest additions are the felling dogs he's had made specially - what a beast!! :001_cool:
6.
Wasn't me that spoke with you on phone today but yes thank you for the mint cake! Long time since I've had that!

7. I hope not, hopefully he just believes I'm 7' 6".... I'm not I'm only 7' 1"
8. To be a little more specific sorry, yes it was off a reel not a fixed length. You can see one end by my, sorry SANTA's feet. Then next to the bobble on his hat is a bit of tape. Unravelled it and measured to this point.
9. If there's more than 1 correct answer or closest answer which chances are there will be. Those names will be stuck in the hat and one drawn at random.
10. We caught an intruder in the premises last night who we believe to be Santa..... we might be wrong but I'm pretty sure its him! We've apprehended him and all you need to do is guess how much rope to the nearest Metre it took to wrap him up!? The competition will run until December 20th, we'll collect together all winning entries (or closest guess) and draw one at random. Entries will be accepted on this thread, through the website and on Facebook. A Petzl Zigzag will then be sent to the winner as soon as it becomes available. Good luck:thumbup:

17. They're training him up quick cos winters coming and they wanna sit in the van supping coffee and taking pictures
18. Dunno what he stuck on but know chrisgilltreesurgery has replaced the tyres on his.
19. Iv never heard of Stihl ever doing it especially direct. I know husky have supplied direct in this manner to local authorities up our way though.
20. Looks like the previous owner has ran it with the brake on. You'd be surprised how much the ms440 would fetch on eBay sold as spares/repair. We put scrapped machines on there and some of the prices they go for is unreal!!

Postage?

Sending stuff abroad now is a killer with royal mail. Over a certain size the price sky rockets! It's hard to find the happy medium where postage costs are concerned. On our website for example the customer unfortunately sometimes pays over the odds due to the way the website works out what goes post and what goes courier. Quite often on larger/heavier or foreign/highlands and islands orders we often get our fingers burnt too! It's something we are looking are looking at rejigging at the minute. It's a bit of a nightmare to be honest! Pricing, tracking, weights, sizes, home, abroad, merging with website etc etc:thumbdown:
