  7. If you wanna save an extra couple of quid you could switch the XTC Fire for XTC+. Same rope, different colour! Also the multi pack karabiners work out more expensive than individually. Every penny counts and all that!
  8. I can now reveal the Throwpod was in fact located in F8. 4 people guessed correctly, 3 from Instagram and 1 on Arbtalk. The names were entered into a hat and the winner drawn at random was Arbtalker Andymacp! Well done Andymacp, I'll PM you now for your address and get it sent out to you.
  9. We're running the "Spot the Throwpod" competition again! To be in with a chance of winning simply comment with the grid reference where you think the Throwpod was before the wonders of Photoshop removed it! Competition closes Monday, multiple correct answers will be entered into a draw and a winner picked at random. Good luck:001_cool:

  14. If your current rope is a Yale XTC Fire, Scorch or Magma Ice then it is exactly the same rope as the XTC+ you have mentioned. The difference literally just being the colour.
  15. Sorry for delay, I can confirm now that the maximum rope for the LD1 (with winch installed) is 14mm and for the LD2 16mm. I've just added the user manual to the website if its of any interest. Click the link under the main picture. Arbpro LD1 Rigging Winch System
  16. Just to make you aware Arbormonkey, we launched a promo on all Arbpro products @ the Arbshow and through our newsletter. I've asked for confirmation but I believe as MattyF says the max diameter is 16mm but I'll let you know once confirmed:thumbup1:
  17. After Clark's I believe your next closest will probably be us but we are on the east coast just outside Newcastle. 2hrs according to Google
  18. Cheers BenR, I should of really posted in here that its all confirmed now for August 8th. Details can be found here SRT Workshop Been well received and almost fully booked. So with that in mind hopefully its something we can build on:001_cool:
  19. I was stuck in traffic on way down to show and was next to the orange one. Sounded awesome!
  20. I was looking at these yesterday, I've no use for one but still need one!
  21. No sorry not as yet.
  22. We are in the planning stages of organising an SRT workshop to be held in the coming months. We'll be looking at the transition from "Double Rope Technique" over to "Single Rope Technique". We'll then take a look at the advantages, setting your lines, anchors, limb walking and redirects etc It'll be a hands on workshop so you'll get the chance to play around and try things out. No dates as yet but more than likely to be on a Saturday with lunch provided at a cost of £40+Vat. So if you've never experience SRT or would like to expand knowledge and share ideas we'd love to see you there. At the moment we are just gathering together interested parties and building a bit of interest. If you think its something you'd like to take part in please email me [email protected] and when we've more information I'll get in touch to let you know. Regards Phil EDIT: I should have said, this will be held yards from our premises on the out skirts of Newcastle, NE13 6DA
  23. Yeah early 2016 is correct. It's a well thought out piece of kit despite its simple premise. Weight in the correct places, combined with the pivot at the base means it rights itself everytime. Saw it demonstrated at Augsberg show last week..... Plus it's all nice and shiny which helps.
