  1. I like trees but.... I have been banned from entering. Same thing happens at home after I have been at the pub too long....
  2. One other point I just thought of is manufacturers these days tend to make the same spec rope in different colours and market it as different names.. Maybe this is to give distributors exclusives. NE Tachyon and Lightning Rope - Same thing different colours
  3. My Error I did mean XTC sorry. I certainly helps to have a large market with Volume of rope sales to source custom yarns, these bright colours are quite expensive and have large Min order qty but do look good. When you look at all the popular ropes today they are using the bright colours rather then standard Red, White and Blue. Is this just a trend I ask?
  4. Good point Jamie, it might have been TC we were using when we experanced the milking.. This is Samson correct. Blue Streak (Arbor Master) seams to be the standard in the 16 plait construction when you look at popular rope in the USA. Have I read from a forum that AM has a waxy coating???? Don't quote me here as I may be wrong?
  5. Oh jeh and Mcdonalds!!!!!!!!!!!! That is really strange food specially if its been laying around for a while...
  6. Peanut butter and Jam on toast, Kids call it Mud.

    BAD Day

The dafs have done there dash anyway, you would have done her a favor, charge extra:star:
  8. NIce spotting Nick, I do think you are right!
  9. The orange one is called "Response" and is used by search and rescue, the tactical responce squad, fire service and the Police currently. Good static rope used as an access line, not something you would climb on everyday as it is very static. We do make it in black of course...
  10. Nice Pic, man that welly is big, you would need a 15min break after getting up there.
  11. Just come across thes cool pics of some of the local lads doing a bit of climbing. Actually they were trialling some new ropes for me. Add in your best shots if you would like. Getting ready to footlock Have a breather It was a long day Close up of the boys........ Same Picture Zoomed out to show how far up they were!!!
  12. Nice, you know they won't let you in with any sharp instruments. It just like going on a plane, have you ever tried to eat with those plastic knives and forks. Good luck using the saw with no chain..... :thumbup1:
  13. I really think you would like this one, similar construction to the Samson but doesn't milk or have as much bounce. One little problem is getting someone to stock it in the UK for you guys, working on it now though. Orange rope is an certified Access line

  21. Steve, Did you do this test?? If so can you post it:001_smile:
  22. His arm is still attached, i think that positive don't you
  23. I was shown this so will try to explain. Instead of pulling the core out at the X-over point it was pulled out where the cover reenters to form the loop (like DB splice), the core is then inserted back into the cover at the intersection point and threaded around the loop and back out at the back of the eye intersection point. You then have the cover tail running down the center with the core. This was then tapered and lock stitch, seamed to work OK with the Spark but until someone that knew what they were doing perfected it I wouldn't recommend. It did however hold very well in the break test.
