  1. Went back today to fell the tree, got somemore photos not sure if these will help.

  9. He probably wants to sell the photographs to a photo bank company, if you sign a model release form you are giving him your consent, he can sell these images and they can be used commercially. See what he has written in the release form first, sounds like a professional photographer, I bet he's got some good ones aswell. Simon
  10. It only resembled the fungus in pic 2 on the link the rest look nowt like it, I know what you mean about the host, only seen em on Beech myself, the other thought was an old Armillaria.

  12. Cheers, dont think its Squamosus. it looked more like this when disturbed AIE - Tree Fungi - Grifola Did think it was Merip at first sight, but I'm hardly an expert.

Went to see my Dad yesterday trading the old Christmas cards, when he produced this tree for Elizabeth, shes now 16 weeks old now so it will be good to watch the tree grow with her, every year decorating it how she wants. I just thought that this was a nice little gift and a good idea, now all I have to do is to stop the urge for prunning it.........could do with a crown lift:biggrin:
