My view; there was no plan B and there was no ability within the team to think for themselves when the one and only game plan wasn't working. 2007 rugby World Cup when the French knocked the ABs out it was well documented here that the ABs had no plan B and weren't confident on changing the A game out on the field. Graham Henry changed his tactics and gave his players the ability to adapt in game and basically think for themselves rather than await his instruction. On top of that, Hodgson was a mediocre coach at best. Time for a massive shake up.
  2. Well, looks like over here in good ol NZ the echo importers don't want to know now. No contact, no support and passed between dealer and importer. So far, not impressed.
  3. Only once have I ever had a problem with my Maori tats and that was with a patched Mongrel Mob member who seemed to take issue. My legs were done by a highly regarded Maori and Pacific Islander traditional tattooist and all of the other local mob members don't have any issues. In fact, I think my last tat was done by an ex mob member. I've Also managed to get accepted in Murupara and Kawerau which is no mean feat but I might be pushing it uphill out the East Cape or Ureweras. A full face Moko however, well, that might get you a beating you'd be hard pressed to walk away from.
  4. Nah, it's pretty much taken for granted here that whether you're Maori, Pakeha, islander, you're probably going to have ink. Even the woman. I understand where you're coming from though. I remember the Swallows etc and around my parts, LCFC across the knuckles.
  5. Standard fare in New Zealand; part of the culture and can't be discriminated against.
  6. What sort do you need? Hire pool have several JLGs which we use but only for street tree work as you need a chip truck in addition.
  7. The steel waratah indicates where the new curb and channel was to go. They wanted me to "root Prune" the trees to allow the curbing to go in. Managed to get them to move the new curb 400mm out from the existing. Not sure why the photos posted sideways either, sorry.
  8. I'll get some photos up shortly but I've been dealing with this exact same issues only this week. I think we might have caught the contractors just in time.
  9. What he and Stephen said. As yet I haven't had an adverse reaction, im usually pretty sharp on wake up and it's quality sleep. I love the feeling as the anaesthetic starts to work.
  10. Mark is this a UK only offer do you know?
  11. Check http://www.echotools.com and the actual manufacturers of echo, schindaiwa etc. the official recall is on those websites.

To be fair, having seen and been part of the types of fans that attend rugby league games, I'm amazed that for the main supporters are well behaved. We have a bit of a warrior culture in NZ, the games attract those from lower on the socioeconomic ladder, including gang members yet you can mingle happily before and after matches with supporters from both sides and all levels. Sure, there's the occasional punch up but nothing like I'm seeing coming out of France.

Not me, I escaped when I could.
  14. Had one here in Taupo that browned off over one side. No root damage, no sign of fruiting bodies but we know the area is well irrigated as its on a garden/reserve border next to a lawn bowls club. We left it for a couple of years and it's currently throwing out new growth. We also tend to over spray everything with Escort and Roundup so I don't know if that's had a cumulative effect.

Same same. Been to several rugby matches and league matches here in NZ. Opposing fans arrive together and leave together. We're renowned for having alcohol issues in NZ yet we very very rarely have any issues at matches and even if we do, it's generally and isolated one on one rather than a full on pitched brawl. I have a feeling that these riots in France have been orchestrated between rival gangs prior to the tournament but still.............maybe time to bring the rubber bullets out.

Three rugby internationals in the Southern Hemisphere yesterday and, as far as I'm aware, not a single jot of trouble. Welsh fans intermingling with All Blacks fans before, during and after the game and I'd imagine the same in Brizzy with the English and Ozzies and the same in the republic. What is it with footy?
  17. Mind if I quote you Spud? I'm gonna screen shot the FB page and email it to Stihl NZ and see what they say.
  18. Yeah, I'm currently watching the fur fly on the AT Facebook page. I'm going to screen shot some of it and email it back to Stihl. When i emailed this morning it was off my phone so I might have looked like some back yard warrior trying his luck. Emailed a reply this arvo with a little more "info" and that I'd done some "research" into the matter. We'll see how that sits. Anyone want an argument for switching to Echo etc?
  19. I wrote to Stihl this morning with regard to the needle bearing problem. Thought I might get some help on a rebuild. This is the reply. Hello Mr Ashmore, Thank you for your mail and enquiry The potential issue on the MS 261 was on the USA versions of the machine and also not related to needle bearings (which bearing were you referring to? The clutch drum needle bearing or the crankshaft little end bearing?) We have had no issues with either bearing to date, on the MS 261 or any other machine. If it is the little end bearing, what two stroke lube are you using? If it's the clutch drum bearing, is dirt or debris getting in about it? do you remove it to clean and regrease it? With kind regards Anyone care to counter?
  20. Spoke to my dealer today and I've told them where to find the recall notice. Thanks to the power of Arbtalk it seems I'm one step ahead of them. Apparently they hadn't even been told but they're on to it now. They're just waiting to find out the details of replacements, refunds etc but safe to say I don't want a refund. Proper gutted as I've only had it a couple of weeks. No news back from Stihl yet about rebuilding my 261 though.
  21. I really must learn to check what auto correct thinks before posting. Option!
  22. I can't even get a reply out of the dealer at this end. Still waiting on contact and if it isn't forthcoming I have no potion to go direct to Echo themselves.
  23. Voluntary recall just means it's done without government intervention. I'd be concerned if you carry on using it and something happens they might not do an exchange. Won't stop me using mine though.
  24. So I see the recall is now up on ECHO I presume this is the main website? Be interesting to see if my local echo reps are as good as the ones over there. So far, my dealer has been good, its the rep I'm concerned about.
