Yes i can see it must be hard some people still think they can run before they can walk. Have you got plenty of good walks where nyou are? have you got many veteran trees?

Do you get people who fail the course, when i did my cs32 i man failed but he was a danger and an idiot.

I would not call that the dark side i would call that being mature and trying to take things a bit steady as you get older, i think we all would like to slow down maybe get a desk job oh no i think i will stay out side in the cold.

Here here:001_smile:I was reading in a book the other day firewood grades and out of four it rated willow as grade 2 ash being grade 1.

Yes them thor splitters look real good, but can you split large rings on them like you can a highcrack.

HI DAVID is the guarding on your tractor done from plans have you also got the sump plate underneath i may be getting a new tractor and i am going to guard this one up to protect it and me.

The stop button cable broke on my renault and i think they wanted about£40 for new cable, so i used a wire conecter it has been like that for years no probs.

I once went to get concrete in a nissan cabstar i pulled in under the shoot jumped out of the truck to talk to the man, as the concrete started to fall in the buck the truck started rolling backwards i started chasing it but no good it picked up speed banged into two workers cars and they went through a retaining wall and dropped 10 feet to the floor both were right offs oh dear:sad:

The suffolk wildlife trust have put sheep on some of there orchid meadows, i just hope they take them off in time. I have a wetland area for snipe and i had 300 common spotted orchids last year this year the farmer forgot about my orchids and when i went to count them there where none, oh dear i think they eat them the same as the deer do.:001_smile:I also am working on an old meadow that used to have rare orchids on it i was thinking of putting a few sheep or goats on it to keep the weeds down. -

WE have the same problem here in suffolk the council wants to clear some heathland but the public are in an arms. a few years ago weput a corner of a field to grass i went there this year and it was full of dogrose thorn oak ash field maple, as we all know every growing thing needs some maintenence to keep it in control. -
Looks good but for what i use a winch for i will start saving up for one on the back of my tractor:001_smile:
