  1. These i found this afternoon growing on an old oak stump.

  3. Bingo veiled oyster growing on an Oak tree outside my window.
  4. A bit of history on this tree it is a huge Elm high stump with the pictured bracket on it. I have looked up p.dryinus on the net and it does not look right but at the base of the tree are these which i think are p cornucopiae the branching oyster note the splitting:001_smile:

  15. I have oaks looking like that all over. Acute oak decline you need to look very carefully for the D shaped exit holes of the Agrillus beetle. Sad days ahead for are beloved oak trees. Keep planting them:thumbup:
  16. Nice one Sean is that re-pollarding or new pollards? I had a bit of wind here thursday night and i have six Oak boughs down one white poplar bough down and a couple of big willows down:biggrin:
  17. Sad news such a sweet face. One year this sunday i lost my king charles spaniel and miss him so much.

  20. Welcome looks good. You should put a couple of wedges in the tenons to finish it off as it shrinks you can knock the wedges in:thumbup:
