  1. Personally think it's the best comment iv seen about it all so far ???
  2. Lovely use of the tipper to get it up [emoji1303]
  3. Yes all done for free, trees donated from a local landowner and client of ours and we donate our time and equipment to put it up and do the lights which are paid for with money from some local fundraising otherwise it just wouldn't happen. Hasn't stopped the typical faceless Facebook twats slagging it off because of course they could do better ?
  4. Town Christmas tree yesterday [emoji1303]
  5. No just polished by my jumper leaning over to reach the engine [emoji23]
  6. Always wanted to do something to combine these two design as it simbalises my son having a rare genetic condition that can be life threatening and likely life shortening so time together is precious but the Mrs isn't keen and I've never had the spare cash.
  7. Was earmarked to do when the field was harvested last but was only in stubble 1 day before the tenant farmer had his plough's back (I think just to be awkward) in so missed that chance and being a very used bridleway and the trees potentially being so unsafe with 3 different top 5 nasty fungal effecting them the decision was made to do them the way you see.
  8. Just on YouTube with links here. Thankyou very much, glad your enjoying them and hopefully not learning any bad habits [emoji6]
  9. This is still one of my favourites
  10. Thanks Samantha Wish I had the time these days to do more videos as it's quite relaxing putting them together but time consuming.
  11. Let's be seeing some more pictures and videos [emoji1303]
  12. We found some of the most spoilt fussed over precious pooches loved coming to the kennels as they could actually be a dog, run around, paddle in the stream at the bottom of the field, bark at anything they wanted too and eat horse shit in the field like a propper dog.
  13. I grew up on kennels and no was was me or my sister going to take them over from my dad's, it's a 365 days a year commitment. People turning up unannounced at 7pm on a Sunday to pick up woof as they got back early and presumed it'd be fine. Dealing with the neurotic owner who's dog has to be hand fed with a recycled wood fork at exactly 3.17pm to avoid distressing it (I'm not exaggerating) Ended up in a&e twice from getting bittern. It's quite a enjoyable career don't get me wrong but your times not yours anymore and you can't just leave the place for a few hrs to nip out even for a meal as the license states someone must be on the property at all times. You'll end up having trips out separately from the Mrs more often than not unless you employ someone to cover for you which really eats into your profit and you have to totally rely on them. Don't go into it with rose tinted glasses of playing with animals and nice walks out, it's over 50%cleaning up shit and piss and dealing with people not the animals.
  14. How I understand it is its a % of total earnings if from a single source that person has to be placed on PAYE even if it's not a full time position, off hand I can't remember that figure. This won't apply if a bonified sub contractor working own equipment under own insurance and method statement without supervision of course but a groundy working as part of your team isn't that. If I were you I'd check with your accountant or a payroll advice company as could land you in more shit with HMRC than you want to be as once they get a sniff of one thing your wide open for more probing.
  15. Once I get the head back from being skimmed it'll go back together relatively easy, egr getting blanked off as this is the second time it's caused problems
  16. Head gasket, water escaping through the egr causing it to overheat
  17. It's a landrover so normal to look like this every so often
  18. Can't get a clean sheet as no chance am I jumping out no plane, no no no! Arrested is possibly a little more than what happened but cautioned for being drunk and disaudaly in charge of a horse was close enough, didn't want to arrest me as didn't know what to do with the horse [emoji23]
  19. What sort of tonnage and size are you after doing, bloke local to us might be interested if we have a few details I can ask him.
  20. That's why I get baffled when people say they run Aspen but not in the big saws as they use too much then do exactly what you say and pop that's a £1000 + saw ruined.
  21. Is that the one advertised on eBay at moment? Hope your Mrs is coping with everything and so are you as it's not just the patient who it affects. My wife is due her last treatment of radiotherapy on Friday following surgery and chimo, it's felt like a long journey since Diogenes in march.
  22. Yes at last we have found a lad who seems to fit nicely, he came for a week and just got on with stuff, experienced enough to be safe and not need watching but not arrogant so we can still reach our way of doing stuff. He's relocating so we have had to wait a while till he'd managed to find somewhere to rent which in these strange times isn't as easy as it should be but hopefully next week we will be go go go.
  23. We have been looking at it too as one of my lads has been sharing the quotating load on weeks I've had off to look after the Mrs this year, although I made some sheets up to put all the details on and kit lists on the back looking at this software would be even easier for both of us and then having all that information in one place when out of the office incase a job changes or cancels last minute without having reemes of paperwork everywhere. Will be followed others opinions with interest
