  1. are you saying you keep tipping the thing over? never ever done that with mine, but i guess i am careful as its one tool not worth damaging, its virtually irreplaceable, and no one makes one as good imho. Be careful to turn the engine off straight away or you will right it off, all the oil gets up in the head and can blow it. has yours got the engine cowling?
  2. Yes, if its on a tracked dumper as they are accessable. I suspect the problem occurs when going in reverse trying to turn? Its actually a safety feature to stop you ripping a track off. Try turning less sharply, especially when loaded
  3. Yes it was. I have three crushers, but have brought four alltogether and one skip loader, but have brought two over the years.
  4. They said they had never come across it before. I think they look after me where they can as I have spent so much with them over the years!
  5. Well. The valve block had an internal fault. It would have had to be sent away to a specialist, so they replaced it with a secondhand one free of charge. Machine is not even in warranty, so very good of them really.
  6. Putting wildlife through a chipper is disgusting behaviour, no matter what the species I know of someone who went round boasting he did that. He was intstantly fired from his job with the council, and word got round as to exactly who it was. When he started up his own company, many locals knew the story and who it was and work was not forthcoming in his direction
  7. Vfs do a kit to fit on that body if I recall!
  8. I saw something similar. Just a question of getting hold of such a device!
  9. Mmm., thats a shame. Always found mine to be really powerful, and pulls 3.5 tonne no worries. Just suppose its what you are used to
  10. Which one? I bet it was the single wheel one. Thats got a smaller engine
  11. I did the same, easily wired up, did the same to my tilt trailer, and the truck. Now I have four remotes for different things, so I have to remember which is which!
  12. My hydraulic supplier made me up an inline gauge today, which means I just remove one end of a pipe, and put the gauge in place. I tried it today on the pipe from the 4 way section leading to themlevers for the tracks. When I operate the tracks, I get 10bar. its going into the manufacturer tomorrow as I am picking another machine up off them anyway. They should get to the bottom of it
  13. Actually having trouble getting a gauge! might have to order one online.
  14. I am starting to suspect some kind of debris lodged somewhere too I have removed three pressure relief valves now, and cleaned them with an airline, so starting to suspect the block where the oil comes into before the valves operate the tracks is the fault.
  15. Cabstar. Biggest payload, 3.5tonne towing ability, bullet proof. No master key available online unlike certain other makes! Been running them for 20 years or so now.
  16. mmmm. 3cc being a smaller pipe diameter from the pump i take it? if so, it just runs the conveyor When i track it in high speed, the conveyor still runs ok. Someone suggested the two speed solenoid is not returning to its proper position and could be allowing some oil to flow, but not enough. i need to go an buy a tester . will try and do that tomorrow!
  17. Nope, oil from only one part of the pump
  18. Correct. But I have high speed travel, its low speed I am missing, cusher works so must be oil flow ok
  19. Now I am confused! The tandem pumo I have has two pipes coming out the side, a smaller one near the front, and a larger one at the back. The smaller one is connected to the conveyor side, which is operated by a lever, bolted on to a central block that has a couple of pressure valves in it, and i presume the solenoid for the higher speed, on the other side is the two valves for the tracks. are you saying that in high speed, it takes oil from both outlets of the pump, and low speed only one outlet?
  20. Its a tandem pump, but one side is running the conveyor, or so I thought. there is a test port or two, so will get a tester and see.
  21. No, I dont have one. Are they expensive? Tried a big lump of concrete in the jaw, and it pulverised it no worries, tracked it round the yard in high speed no problems. Conveyor works fine. Strange
  22. Put the old block on today, made no difference. Tried amnew pressure relief valve, no joy. Ot must be up at the lever end ! TIME FOR AN EXPERT TO LOOK NOW,!
  23. powerfab and smalley, neither of which are made. at the end of the day, if you think it will do what you want it to, go for it, just dont expect too much of it
  24. I think they all have stress control, but some were done as an aftermarket thing by entec back at the factory. In those days, you brought direct from them, not dealers, so any servicing etcnwas done by them. (so I am told!)
  25. I spoke to the guy I brought it form, he seems to think the two speed was instead of no stress, as soon as no stress was added, the two speed was redundant. Will check to see whats wired up though
