  1. got this little tcp dumper to sell. Just had new fuel pump, injector, two new fuel filters, some new grease nipples, and air cleaner cover. It runs a treat, all works as should. £2300 PLUS VAT. Ideal for log moving!
  2. You have to undo all the connectors first. Its a balla ache of a job. In future, you would be better trying to run the crane up every few weeks, get the oil pumping round the system and get it nice and hot. Will save the components and oil from failing
  3. Drain it if its stored for such a long period of time
  4. Thanks. I will offer them to arbtalk guys first, then ebay. I did see someone on here had converted one into a logsplitter carrier!
  5. Cant go into too much detail, but i will be aquiring said machines and they are all currently non runners for one reason or another. Fortunately i know the machines inside out so confident i can get two out of three up and running by canabilising the third!
  6. You may well be in luck, as i have some tcp tracked dumpers coming to me shortly that may well be in the price range and ideal as a tracked base
  7. Now that brings back memories. I still paint it now! and again. Why did you sell it, did it do many hours? I never got on with the hinowa dumpers, the skip didnt tip forward enough and i ended up rocking the machine back an forth to empty it!
  8. Here you go. Not the best photo, but its fairly recent. Not bad for an 18year old machine!
  9. Surely you can,sue them, thats out of order? Didnt you guys manage a case against jensen?
  10. After years and years, finally got a couple of pipes made up so i can run my jcb breaker gun off the hydraulic service line. The pedal the operates the flow has two postions, and stays on in either direction. Gun works a treat, better than on the beaver power pack. But, what i want to know is, if i fit an auger to the boom, will it have a reverse by moving foot pedal one way? I took the cover off to inspect the pipes one is marked p, the other t, which must be return to tank? Also worth noting is the pressure pipe is metal and a much smaller diameter the t pipe runs towards the tank, but splits off and the appears to join on to a control valve block hidden in the fascia. Anyone else run the same machine that might know? Would seem a bit daft not being able to reverse an auger!
  11. What he said. You could cut it for at least 10 years that way without the agro of fuel and maintenence
  12. Spot on. Best to buy the correct one. It will work properly for the ram
  13. Have you tried ringing him from another phone?
  14. Had similar. They knocked 50quid off as they found a crisp packet in their garden. It was cheese and onion and i hate cheese and onion so nothing to do with me!
  15. Really? Will have to add that in! Although a dead of night removal is more amusing!
  16. Checkatrade is not all that, i wouldnt worry. Also, you cannot go onto property and start taking stuff, unless its done in the dead if night. I have had a similar experience. Long story short, did some horse fencing and two pairs of gates. She refused to pay £300 of the final amount, saying i put the fence in the wrong place amd not in accordance with her plan. I used the plan the daughter gave me.Went to court, they won by lying and blaming her 18year old daughter for giving me the wrong plan. They seemed to know the judge. Anyway, the pairs of gates mysteriously vanished one night, along with the gate fittings. Not that i took them or anything, I did hear they sold for more than the £300.
  17. Did the skidsteer cope with the large bits in the bottom picture?
  18. Those hoses need tidying up a bit. Far too vulnurable like that!
  19. Molegrips on the side lock opens all doors. Also, a transit courier is easy to get into by using a hacksaw blade to slice into the wiring loom just behind the front wheel arch. Remind me the benefits of owning a ford??
  20. Why are we not allowed to say on here who is responsible? By giving them this protection, we are just encouraging them even more
  21. Both much of a muchness. Hoping by the time my cabstar needs replacing, isuzu have a double cab out, so i can choose between the two. I looked at the mitsy, but bluetooth wasnt even available! Way behind the times
  22. Whats that green length of metal on the digger arm?
  23. There is no way you have to show them every reciept and invoice. You just have to send them the spreadsheet workings electronically, which my accountant will be doing for me
  24. Whats up with people? You can get a trail camera, and if you go for a good one, the batteries last quite a while.
