  1. is everthing straight underneath bent trackrod on a landie that would only go to full lock one way rod caught on diff the other way
  2. just to confuse you further if you drive a 7.5tonne wagon the speed limits are the same as a 3500kg van. but add a 750kg trailer they then become the same as a HGV ie 40mph on A roads, but it gets better this also applies if you drive any combination with a maximum autherised mass (MAM) of 8.25tonne this is plated weight not what you weigh. just to further confuse the working time directive (HGV drivers hours) may or may not apply as well, even VOSA could'nt answer that. BE WARNED if you are operating trucks/vans and trailers ignorance is no defence my employer found out we where all driving round towing illegally after a routine VOSA check when he brought in a traffic consultant to sort out his O licence.
  3. if you don't know the answer to that yet you never will
  4. the sad fact is motorists are easy money. the low lifes that steal this kind of kit can have it in a container and on its way to Poland (popular for tractors) or where ever else before you've found out its gone its less of a risk to steal it from near ports the evidence is long gone by the time the law turns up. as for the guy not reporting the dodgy kit offered i've one word for you crimestoppers. and by not reporting the dodgy van we've seen or that bloke who always has something usually with no serial numbers at a good price, it will carry on and we just make it easier.

  12. mine hated water tried every trick i could think of basically it comes down to trust the dog needs to be shown its ok in the water try waders if you don't want to get wet but the way ifound worked was to get the dog to follow off the lead and then take her a bit further out till she was swiming only thing is she'll go in any water now as my next door neigbour found out off the tow path (3ft above canal) through the ice panic ensued but at lest she'll swim now

  16. to say that you can't be good at you career because you put in alot of hours is a bit unfair I used to have a full time (45hours ish)job a part time job (2 nights + for fifteen years) DJing(i can't of been that bad bookings were word of mouth) and then worked on the farm at home this was my choice to live where I did and to pay for my hobbies the fact you put in lots of hours could mean that you have lots of happy customers having a second job could be having lots of overheads Wife kids house

  24. With the price of steel as it is palisade fencing may be expensive but you might like to try an electric fence it will put off all but the most determined with hawthorn blackthorn etc planted inside there was a fencing system we used on our farm which is easy to put up an very effective it uses pvc pipe as insulaters and gripples to tension it made up of single strand wire. by the time the fence is knakered the hedge will do the job on its own
