Got to agree here- HAVS is a big problem, gloves keep yr hands warm and reduce vibration/circulation problems that lead to nerve damage, a good grippy pair of rubberised gloves are god up a tree ( specsh in the wet) plus keep conifer sap / starling **** of yr samwidges 4 later -sorry but I always use them:001_smile:

  15. I'm glad this thread has certainly pulled out into the open a lot of professional concerns in our industry-I hope some from the Arb Ass ( ? ) HSE an other bodies are checking in on this feedback. A lot of issues for them to tackle ? ( Shall we wait n see, boys n girls ? ) Khriss

I.........wash out my tanks every month-rotate the bar every day, new plug every 6 months, bar replaced when new chain presses flat against the rails, plus the sprocket w the bar- usual checks on AVs, brake band, ect-every week,my saws do seem to last a bit.....( 12 yrs on a McCulloch 70cc-lol) k
