Best try on in shop then with yr spikes - bought Treehogs online, comfy from day one fr most of my work. If yr doing lot of climbing on spikes might not be best choice tho. K

Tree Hogs i meant John, heel too rounded, old bashlins. Not a fan of spiking so it hardly mattered with those. K

I' d pull off the torn branch with a winch n fell tree using winch to guide it, not one I would attempt if yr not experienced though. Lot of factors to account in. K

One concern would be Bat occupation there , old building near , could be a forage area for them either roosting in building or tree or both ! K -
I think yr location first ( county would be good enough ) as some blokes milling on here may be close by ? K
