  1. Ha yeah. I thought he was an employee.
  2. Yep you're right, I was thinking that he was an employee, my bad.
  3. I've just googled what you're supposed to do in this situation and it is bonkers. Basically, if you don't have policies in place you need to help them overcome their addiction, pay for time off for rehab and you can't just fire them as its classed as an illness!
  4. Atm it is legal to buy tobacco and alcohol. There is still a huge market for counterfeit and shit laced products though. Come on, if they made weed legal you know there would be way more people smoking it, same for snorting coke. Public health improved a lot when they raised the age of smoking and when they banned it in indoor places, it's just the next step. Rushi Sunak is still a cock though.
  5. It will work, not 100% but it will make a difference. What do you think the negative impact is?
  6. I think the whole point is that they won't become a smoker. I'm a smoker (on and off) and I think it's a good idea. Although it will be a laugh in 66 years time when you have to show proof that you are 80 years old to buy a 20 pack of regal.
  7. Londoners have begged Suella Braverman to close the borders before the French bedbugs can arrive 😂 Is London prepared for the mutant bedbug invasion that has swarmed Paris? WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK Londoners have begged Suella Braverman to close the borders before the French bedbugs can... I thought it quite funny and just a little ott when it popped up on my breaking news web page.
  8. You could stop pulling 'facts' out of your arse then getting upset when others call you out on them. Just a suggestion like.
  9. Do you have a bit of inside information?
  10. Hmm, I'm also wondering what good reason there is for someone to destroy property that isn't there's. If it does turn out to be a disgruntled farmer then its worse, imo than if it was a dickhead 16 year old kid doing it for a laugh.
  11. Because they take far too much time so everyone can get a foot in the door, jump on the gravy train and create jobs for the boys. They should axe it now and right it off as a loss. Shirley there are far fewer people needing to travel to work and back these days compared to was it 2010 when it was proposed?
  12. A complete and utter tragedy for sure. Seems a bit weird that someone sprayed up the felling cuts though. Unless that was forensics sort of outlining the death scene.
  13. Ahh well. It seems like ocean power is doable but only on a small scale atm and power storage just isn't quite there yet either. Bugger!
  14. Survival of the fittest. jk aside, wind turbines look krap and I think that's it's ridiculous that there is hardly any infrastructure in place to store the energy that they produce! I'm sure that there are a few peopel on here that have worked in the green/renewable sector, if so why can't we harness the power of the ocean? Twice a day the moon moves a scramferious amount of water about, Shirly we can capitalise on the tides of billions of tons of water sloshing about?
  15. Chief Wiggum said something similar. YARN | I'd rather let a thousand guilty men go free than chase after them. | The Simpsons (1989) - S11E13 Comedy | Video clips by quotes | 3b9c276f | 紗 WWW.GETYARN.IO The Simpsons (1989) - S11E13 Comedy clip with quote I'd rather let a thousand guilty men go... Joking side I agree in regards to locking up innocent people, just like that guy who wrongfully served 17 years and was released the other month is a prime example. Msm does get it right sometimes though, I think it was fairly effective with the jimmy savile case. The police only investigated after that documentary about savile came out iirc.
  16. I've never tried it but iirc it has been suggested to rub butter into the rope as that dissolves/loosens the sap. I read it here on AT so a search might help. I've found that it dries out and just disappears in time. Although I have used petrol in the past which works great but I doubt it does the rope any good!
  17. I dunno, Plip Schofield hasn't been proven guilty of being a nonce but I'm fairly sure most people don't think that he's innocent. Brand with a 16 year old when he was in his thirties, nonce material. I hope that both of them get convicted but well we will see.
  18. I'm surprised that you haven't got your pitch fork out as he did work for the BBC!
  19. If the allegations against Brand are true then how ironic it is that he has been banging on for years that people in power are mentally and physically breaking us all down and that we need to fight back against the powers that be! Seems like he knew what he was taking about, it was him, in power. What I don't understand though, is that if he did these things why isn't he being investigated by the police? He needs banging up if hes guilty, castration and hanging would be more favorable like.
  20. My old neighbour had a few Rottweilers over the years they were big friendly playful dopes, really well trained and behaved. There was no fookin way I would trust them or turn my back on them though. I could stamp a jack russel into the ground but not a ten stone bag of muscle if it's animal instinct kicked in for some random unknown reason. Xl bullys, pit bulls etc are breed for one reason.
  21. Go on then, what do you do to stop the wrong person owning the wrong type of dog?
  22. And how on earth would you do that? How do you know if someone is responsible enough to own xxx type of dog?
